Please help me, I cannot connect to the server or cm-ss13.com
As the title says -- I suspect I have been banned somehow, but I thought i'd ask here first if anyone else has had this or a similar problem first, before appealing a ban I don't know whether exists or not.
When I try to connect to CM via BYOND, the window doesn't get to the "please wait 30 seconds" part. It tries to connect for about ten seconds, then shows the "Dream Seeker may be experiencing problems reaching byond.com right now". When I try to connect to this forum here on cm-ss13.com, it similarly times out after ten seconds. I'm using a proxy service to post this. I can connect to other SS13 servers just fine. This has been happening for two days now. I've tried re-installing BYOND, clearing the BYOND cache and logging in with a new username, without any change in the result.
If it's a ban, I'll appeal it. If it's a technical issue, I ... don't know where to begin. If I've been IP-banned, using evasion tech to solve it is not really a solution.
My in-game name is Lukas Smalls. My best guess is I might've been banned for taking the Command-level headset of a dead captain.
I very much enjoy playing CM. The teamwork of marines. The difficulty of defeating the aliens. The finicky nature of gear and attachments. The triumph of working together to overcome odds that SEEM impossible. Making resin wall mazes and watching as the corridors are clogged with dead and dying, running and panicking tallhosts. I miss it. I'd like to play again.
If anyone can help me, shed some light on this, I'd very much appreciate it.
Thank you.

What's your Ckey/username you use for Byond?

Are you, by any chance, using a school computer to play CM?
-
No, not a school connection. I AM, however, using my phone's Share Internet-function to connect to the internet (in my apartment).
-
SOLVED.
I turned off my phone and turned it on again.
Apparently that did it.
Hm.
Thank you for your time, Cry of Wolves.

Not a problem. I'll get an admin to close this thread.
