Description of the incident New: So as I was really confused between writing this on Staff Report or Ban appeals, I'll do this again, same text except this line and in Staff Report
I wasn't really sure whenever to do a Staff Report or a Ban Appeal, but since the Ban Appeal gives me more options to express myself, I have decided to do it in the Ban Appeal section, could be moved to the Staff Report section instead, but that's up to the forum manager.
Alright so, I have been recently informed that I was banned on the CM13 Discord for posting a meme about pedophilia or something similar, as I have been told.
The meme in question which is above this chat box, "Reason for Ban" is the same that I posted (if you don't believe it, CTRL F), now I recommend you watching the full video to understand my defense case, or how this is a huge misunderstanding.
Per this image, https://imgur.com/a/uC7oE48 (if it doesn't work tell me), a CM13 Player got offended by it, which in reality makes sense, it could be understood perfectly as a pedo joke and CM13 doesn't tolerate it due to some old previous events that happened, but in reality this meme, shitpost whatever you want to call him was mocking the incel or porn addict which has no girls or something.
Now, this is my appeal/report not some explain the meme forum thread.
Take the explanation above however you want, but this was really a misunderstanding, in no moment I tried to post a shitpost that advocated or encouraged pedophilia, I found funny that the meme shittalked about porn addicts and incels because hey, who does not? Those are usually a threat to society in general and come on, those people are just stupid,
I'd really like to apologize about this huge misunderstanding and to all who saw this meme and confused it with a pedo joke as I said before, this was purely making fun of incels
Now I'd like to say some words too, this could be considered the "Staff report" section, some days ago or a week now that I think, a user was banned for 1 day for saying, if I remember correctly "do I groom kids then?" Since the topic was about pets (dogs, cats and such) in LRC as a way of saying, petting I believe.
What I find a bit unfair is while that person got 1 day banned, I got permanently banned while I had no previous records or notes about pedophilia, it was a directly full power ban and just one note which was about posting a gif which involved Randy from South Park being covered in a certain white fluid with a comment "when MPs arrest" or something. Prior to my recent unban, I had no more warnings, so I was permanently with 1 warning which as I said before, I find unfair.
Now I gotta admit, I didn't really pay much attention to the shitpost that I posted, I focused on the parts of "you got no bitches" and similar shit to that which were more funny.
So that is my mix of appeal/report, I'd like to request to my ban being at least lowered to a reasonable time and take in consideration my records between when I was unbanned to now. EvidenceWhat resolution are you seeking? Lower my perma ban to a timed ban and work better the escalation system I'd say.
