Description of the incident: A group of us (marines) walked through ETA research labs (Big red) and out into western caves following a ping as we were chasing down the last xenos. LCpl Lawrence Rhinehard and PFC Marshall K. Miller were among some of the people present.
The ping turned out to be a pred and I called out to the others referring to it as a "Jamaican". The pred then started attacking me and PFC Marshall K. Miller seemingly unprovoked. I shouted that it was hostile over comms and tried to walk away and hide using the snipe ghillie armor camouflage ability, but it just kept attacking me until I died. I did not fire a single bullet during the whole encounter, nor did I punch it, shove it, point to it or even try to speak to it before it attacked me. Miller however started firing back after it attacked me and him. Some other marines also started firing on it
The pred then dragged my corpse around the caves for some time before dumping it in a cave near LZ2 where a medic found and revived me.

What resolution are you seeking? I've only seen this kind of unprovoked attack from preds happen a few times before, but never to me. In this case perhaps it was just a misunderstanding on their part, but in the moment it just came off as an attempt to grief since the pred just seemed to be attacking people indiscriminately.
Maybe there is something in the Yautja honor code that I don't understand, but if you can just kill anyone for no apparent reason then what's the point of the honor code?
I'm not seeking any punishment, but if the pred player did break the honor code someone should probably at least talk to the player in question.
