    A very well-made Application.
    I've only got two concerns-
I personally havn't seen you do much as Medic or Doctor, but, others in the synth chat have vouched for that, so I don't think it's going to be an issue.

    The other is Req.
Luckily, unlike doctor, you can reasonably get a grasp on How someone will handle Req over text- so here's a basic question

    - You're alone in Req, and the Roundstart Req Rush has calmed down, you need to put together the FOB crate for Kutjevo LZ1. Give a list of what you would buy and what you would stock the crate with.
Oh, sorry. I didn't actually see your question because I was answering TheeBiggests, but I'll take a gander at it now.

Roundstart requisitons, I will assume that we are currently at say, 12:18 (very fast marines who don't fuck around and waste my time!) and drop will be at 12:22. Marines will likely get me coordinates either instantly via RTO call or in 4 minutes if they're competent. I will also assume I have roughly 26700 budget at the time? Potentially less, potentially more - but that's what I generally see at the pop I play at.

For Kutjevo LZ1, and all LZ's, you have a few important things to drop - however, I would base this judgement call off the amount of combat technicians, as they all start with 50 metal each and thus reduce the amount of metal that is required to be sent.
    - 2 to 4 orders of metal. This will cost roughly 4300 - 6900 budget in total due to the cost of metal going up by 300 each time a crate is purchased, and provide 150 metal. This SHOULD be enough for an initial FOB crate, and the extra 5 minutes of time I am given will be enough for me to prepare more metal by scavenging leftover barrels and locked doors. I will also attempt to scavenge as much metal as possible in this time - by dismantling all the easily accessible barrels, the storage solutions crates in Construction Site and the other one in Maintenance to the north I believe, I will be able to push this up to roughly 200 - 300 metal in the short timeframe I have to be outside of Requisitions, without significantly spending on the budget. If their are almost no engineers and thus less starting metal, I may also have to send more.
    - 1 to 3 orders of plasteel, depending on Requisitions budget. This will cost roughly 8000 budget and provide 80 plasteel - enough for 10 plasteel cades. While I am somewhat tired and do not remember the exact amount of plasteel required for a plasteel cade (I believe it is 8), nor the exact cost (I believe it is 4000), it should provide enough to create entrances for the APC. Folding metal barricades may also be used in some areas if needed.

If the situation is dire and I believe we do not have enough combat technicians, I will also send a sandbag crate or two so that normal PFC's may assist with construction, or assuming that we have enough budget/no specialists/no major demand for anything.

At this point, I will have spent roughly 12,300 - 15,000 of the Requisitions budget. While I may have spent more assuming their are few combat technicians and I have purchased sandbags or additional metal (most likely sandbags, due to the rising cost of metal). While possible to spend more on materials, I enjoy having a small surplus of Requisitions left over - and thus, I will move to scavenging the ship. I will assume I have roughly 1 minute left until deployment, and then I will have a short timeframe before sending the FOB crate. In this instance, I will assume we have multiple combat technicians and that I have 12,300 budget remaining.

Depending on how I believe the round will play out, I may also send a crate or two of sandbags - however this is not always a given and will vary based off how likely I believe they are to be used or if the combat technician amount is low.

My first step would be to pack the materials in to a backpack, for obvious reasons, and use one of the crates provided in Requisitions for the pad - loading it on ECHO pad or whatever Command wishes it to be fired from. The backpack would be labelled as 'MATS' and placed in the crate. Assuming that MT's are generous or similar, they may have also decided to bring metal to Requisitions, but this is unlikely - if so, I would load as much as I can in the backpack.

As for my second step, I would take the AP rifle ammo, standard rifle ammo, and whatever loose ammo boxes I can find and place it in the FOB crate. Armor piercing ammunition is exceptionally important and it is unlikely that marines will burn through 600 rounds especially quickly in the early game - however, being able to quickly and easily resupply it is useful.

I will also load any additional support equipment I can on to the FOB crate - a bag of JTAC equipment, if I believe that CAS or mortar will be used, the mortar and mortar shells in a mortar bag (without additional shells thus so far, as during my timezone mortar operators are typically inactive or do not use it. If one is present, I may order additional shells to send, but usually I will reserve this for second drop.) Additionally, I will grab the MRE and flare crates from maintenance south of the Alamo, and take the 200x flares and 60x MRE's and load at least one box of each. Another backpack will also be filled with combat flashlights, signal flares if I may get my hands on them as they are useful - motion detectors if we have a surplus as I am personally afraid of asking for too many things from Requisitions.

Additionally, if I still have space and time, which at this point starts to become more and more of a rarity, I may send down one or two spare M56D kits - certain squad leaders on Bravo enjoy having them as a defensive tool, and may not have time nor patience to request one as they are unable to carry both down with them easily.

With the remaining 14,400 budget, I may also begin moving through other requests - while I am not a fan of answering early specialist requests, it is sometimes important to do so. I will continue to send more metal next drop, through both scavenging and ordering additional metal.

Typically, I enjoy keeping a buffer of around about 5000~ ish budget for emergency orders. Most of what I send on an initial FOB crate can be gathered from the ship, however plasteel is one of the few things that cannot be.

For a summary, in a general situation with no extreme factors -

    - 100 to 150 purchased metal, 200 - 250 if I am given additional time (typically I require about 3 - 4 minutes of time) to scavenge before sending. Stored in backpack with plasteel.
    - 80 - 120 plasteel. Most likely only 80, due to plasteels increased cost. Stored in backpack with metal.
    - Two backpacks of combat flashlights of possible.
    - Buckshot, flechette, slug boxes - 100 rnds each.
    - Rifle and rifle AP ammo box.
    - Two boxes of MRE's and flares.
    - A bag containing some JTAC encryption keys and laser designators if some are remaining, along with signal flares.
    - Two M56D kits, if they will fit and if few people have requested them.
    - The mortar, and mortar bag containing all of the shells, or a mortar belt if the mortar bag is missing somehow.
    - Whatever ARES has automatically obtained if it is relevant - obviously, I will not send down an M4A3 AP magazine box, as it is a waste of space. Typically I find this to be irrelevant or unimportant, however, or I just simply lose track of it and assume I ordered it by mistake.

While this is not enough metal to fully barricade the entire FOB without the additional metal that Combat Technicians spawn with, it is enough to fully enclose and protect the FOB from T1's and T2's. More metal sent on subsequent drops will help reinforce and improve the FOB over time, along with softening the blow to Requisitions budget in the event the SADAR requires it. My most important priorities to get down, however, is -
    - Metal and plasteel, sandbags if needed/low number of combat technicians.
    - Mortar and mortar bag.
    - Combat flashlights and flares.
    - Rifle ammunition.
    - MRE's and flare boxes.
    - If I have sent sandbags or know they're likely to be used, a bag of entrenching tools.
    - JTAC bag.
    - 1 - 2 motion detectors.
    - M56D kits.

I will also likely order more metal as it is if static communications is fully merged - as more metal will have to be expended. I will have to see how this affects the economy of Requisitions and Engineering, but I would hope it is little. The additional scavenged metal, for now, appears to be enough to offset this, however.

ARES items may fit anywhere here as I do not have an exact read of what they will be, obviously.

Havent gotten to see ya play too much myself (prolly cause of timezones, and the fact I just came back), but this application, and your answers to people's questions, are amazingly well crafted and your effort shows. Everything that should have been mentioned, has been by the others.

    So, +1 from me!

Not gunna echo everyone else. Its a good application and I trust you enough to give you a +1

My only minor concern is this passage in your story,

    SynthAppFrynden.jpg

Its a little out of place for a USCM synthetic. Its fine in the stories context but just don't be too physical like that with /mes with marines in game and ICly.
If you have CM brain rot don't talk to me.

Well, I had composed a reply before but it seems to have deleted it. I've also made a new character for playing SEA - Benson Ucello Clark-Kohath, although mostly to decompress after a gruelling round as hospital corpsman or similar.

As for all of the positive feedback - thank you all! I truly did not expect so many people to read or care about this application, if at all. For those of you who I have not met and who are going off vouches from others - I hope I get to see you some time! I've seen Tater/Norman a few times now, and I might've stole some of his patients on LV, aha.

This post is not intended to advertise or similar - instead, I just wished to thank everyone, and to explain some things! In regards to the quirk, I did ask councillors about it and toned it down - but, I will tone it down more in game if people think it might be a bit too touchy touchy. I do not intend to do it super often regardless, just as a simple side thing. For my cade design with the folded corners - if I have time to remove the walls, I would most definitely build it against the wall. If not, I'll 'pleat' it back like that, to prevent xenomorphs being able to dictate the engagement in those areas.

    Thank you all, though!
