Some ideas for laws, take em or leave em devs
Minor Crimes
Battery: to unlawfully use or threaten to use nonharmful physical force or to use physical force in general without apparant malicious or criminal intent (shoving in the req line, and punching someone to get them to stop bugging you, respectfully) minimum time: a warning maximum time: 10 minutes
Sexual harassment: to use words or actions with sexual themes in a derogatory or flirtatious way targeted towards someone in particular without their approval. (due to the personal nature of this crime and due to the fact that a bit of this kind of thing can be expected between close knit marines, this charge can only be filed if pressed by either the offender, victim, either of their direct supervisers, or the Acting Commander, to prevent a jealous officer from calling an arrest on the marines that are all having fun in the showers and didnt invite them.) minimum: 5 minutes maximum: 30 minutes
Major Crimes
Abuse of authority: to be directly intentionally physically abusive in the duties of an MP or commissioned officer towards an enlisted marine by using their rank, position, or unique assets without lawful cause (harmbatonning compliant/verbally noncompliant marines, beating insubordinate marines to get them to follow orders, BE'ing a marine by beating them to death inhumanely rather than by a reasonable means if it is available) minimum: 30 minutes/demotion maximum: execution or military discharge
Perjury: To be found intentionally lying about relevant details of an active investigation the offender is directly involved in to either the investigating/arresting MP or Acting Commander, or to do the same to a judge, prosecutor, or jury while on trial for crimes commited minimum: 25 minutes maximum: permabrig
Capital
Crimen ad Nausea: to be lawfully convicted of an inordiant level of non capital crimes, over the period of 6 months. (for our purposes 10-15 minor crimes, 5-8 major crimes) Punishment: execution or military discharge
these were just off of the top of my head, let me know if you can think of any more that would fit and be a useful addition to marine law

Adding more laws won't help with marine law, I'm currently keeping in mind making it simpler and easier for both parties involved to understand and carry out. This means changing sentencing and a few other things rather than the laws themselves.

Abuse of authority is not needed, we have NoD that works for this. This new law would just be abused senseless.
Also, another ML revamp. I think we should try to look over this problem in a different perspective than revamp it once again.
