Additionaly at this time there was no way to know that you have been warned by them already at first.

A simple "I won't do it again." or probably anything other than your refusal to answer questions would have probably not netted you the ban when I PM'd you - you were given chances to de-escalate it that you didn't want to take.

I'll say one thing not totally related to the appeal that much, its literally shitposting and if the XDDD didnt indicate that its a non serious shitpost I dont know what woulda indicated that. Additionally if you didnt twist my words you woulda gotten a better answer, but I guess you just come off as a crass asshole who I dont really want to have a conversation with anyways, who knows.

The discussion in this appeal feels like a shit post. Like, I genuinely am annoyed I had to read all that tripe and now have to think about how to respond in a fair manner.

This appeal is basically "I got hit too hard for doing something wrong".
I actually think I agree with that sentiment. But I'm not particularly keen to overrule an issue that's a matter of staff discretion when it's not clear abuse or mistake. So lets think this through a bit and see if that standard is met.

Make no mistake; you fucked up. Chen did what he's tasked with doing as a discord mod; make sure there's no nsfw stuff on the discord. What does nsfw mean? It means anything we deem as nsfw. That will generally mean porn, anything referencing porn, or anything that's meant to make you think about dicks, tits, vag or any other sexual stuff or acts. This also can include stuff that's graphically violent such as, but not limited to, people actually dying or being dismembered. If we deem it crossing the line, it's gone. That's all there is to it. Those of us running the show are old farts and there are minors on this server. We're not interested in allowing anything that points the minors we know or should know are on the server to shit they shouldn't be pointed to. This is non-negotiable.

So. Chen did what he's supposed to do and got piled on for it. Can't expect him not to give lip back when it's given to him so I could care less about a ligma. You were a part of that pile and got a warning for it. This much seems to me to be on the straight and level. This probably should have been the end of it so long as you didn't violate the warning.

Perhaps I missed it, but I have seen no evidence that you continued ragging on chen for removing the prior shitpost after this point.

It appears to me that this is the point where the communication over the issue between the OP and exgame occurs. The communication here could easily have been either an "IDGAF", or a "Do what you've got to do" on the part of ghostdex. Neither of which should warrant a ban on their own right as the issue had already apparently been resolved. Exgame does not appear to have been the staff member involved in resolving this issue.

Ergo, I'm inclined to believe that this is a case of clear mistake and the ban is un-warranted. A warning tag, a note, and perhaps a kick would be within the bounds of what would be reasonable for responding to a staff member contacting you over an issue with an "IDGAF" response if we were to assume the least charitable intent and something being within the discretion of the staff member getting the message.

I am resolving this appeal as follows:

1) The discord ban will be lifted;
2) Any existing note regarding the original offense will remain or be modified as a "kicked for";
3) the kick will be regarded as "time served"; and
4) a 24h warning tag will be applied for being a dick to staff for doing their jobs.

This is resolved.
