Simple Guide in being a Good RO/CT

1.Spawn then turn on all squad comms. ASK FOR POINTS TO THE CO/XO
(If they dont then they dont. But IF ITS LV THEN SPAM THE FUCK OUT THAT YOU NEED POINTS. LV is literally 2 FOBs that needed to be supplied.)

2.Prepare webbings, ammunition, kits, and stuff

3.Open line and give out attachments. Dont give HEFAs(except when its HvH).
Give BCs to PFCs if they want it. Their job is to shoot(Some other ROs/CTs dont like this)

4.Get spec orders. ONLY if they order. Listen for orders when operation is ongoing too.
RPG SPEC (PUT ROCKETS IN A BAG. LABEL IT. SHITS ALWAYS GETTING STOLEN)
Other specs just drag the ammo crate then call them in comms. They usually have storage for it. Also ask the sniper spec if they can give their smock to the RPG.

5.Ask CO/XO/aCO on whos on FOB duty. Order Shit for FOB duty guys. Give materials or Give FOB Crate Pre Drop.
They like it when you give them the stuff directly since they wont have delays in building.

6.Round commences and xenos are fucking shit up. Continue asking marines need supply shit if they do prepare it ASAP. SPAM THE FUCK OUT OF THE SL TO GET COORDS. (OPTIONAL) IF THEY'RE HOLDING AND GETTING FUCKED BY A BOILER PUT LOTS OF M41A (RAILSCOPE,EB,VGRIP).
MG CRATES BUILDING MATERIALS (a BIT), FLARES(IN A BAG), FOOD(IN A BAG). LABEL IT AS FRONT LINE CRATE.
SPAM ALL SQUAD COMMS THATS ITS ALL READY THEN THEY LAZE COORDS.
THEN FUCKING HARASS THE SO/XO/CO to SEND OUT YOUR CRATE OR PUT IT IN THE REQ PAD (THE GREEN ONE) SLAP THE DAMN COORDS IN THE COMPUTER. SEND IT. 5 MINUTES COOLDOWN. (Thank you devs for putting that shit in there)

7.Watch till people praise you for being a good RO doing shit. Or people saying you were too fucking noisy and shitting up the squad comms (Mostly snowflake SOs complain) That means you did your job good.

    8. Rinse and repeat. Keep doing this until you get better in the job.

    Other Shit.

Ignore normal mags in ASRS unless needed. They just clutter just clutter req. Get motion detectors and important stuff
Prepare two Crates. Always. FOB and for frontline. Much better if you can prepare it Pre Drop.
If marines are winning and needed to sweep. Make a crate full of motion detectors to eliminate them asap to prevent delays or xenos turning the game around with marines bursting.
Ask for the synths help. Makes them want to kill themselves more. Ask them if they need something or order something that they can or would want to use in the round. Ask the CO/XO/aCO to drop synth planetside to help out in shit.
Try to Mini-SO. FOB Getting flanked and you heard a squad tell it and everyones in the FOB? Relay it to the other squads. Sometimes announcements aren't just enough.

Something super useful I have found is to send down a CT, assuming you have 3, to get coordinates and monitor the supply situation. Makes all the difference in the world for reading the supply situation, and knowing what to buy instead of SL's 'more AP' and engi's 'moar plasteel'.

Honestly, with ASRS easily handled by 1 decent RO, you should send your CTs to raid marine preps and get crates planetside+coords.

Fuck FOB crates, you don't need *crates* to get stuff down to LZ1.

Just fill up three backpacks and toss all the garbage for the FOB into DS1 and say something in engineering channel and command about said stuff so engineers pick up that shit, even throw in some ammo boxes and magazines into the DS, carrying shit into the dropship is just fuckton faster than being a retard that insists on pushing a crate which is a lot slower no matter how you do it.
Keep a couple ammo boxes in case a supply drop needs ammo boxes, which isn't that common of a request and where crates are actually useful.

Oh and maybe just toss the grenade box to the DS also, no one wants to go shipside just to resupply on grenades, half dozen magazines, or whatever so just literally toss almost everything down while keeping some stuff like attachments and couple boxes.

As long as the items see some use planetside instead of sitting shipside doing nothing that's already more than what a PFC would expect.

Maybe you need more than three backpack worth of items sent down, well just leave the backpacks in the hangar and run back and forth to cargo to get said items and wait for the dropship so you can toss said garbage into the dropship if you don't trust marines on looting some backpacks full of extended M41/SMG/whatever magazines that surely can't be useful in anyway whatsoever to place on the LZ because no one ever asks for XT mags until you run out anyway, or maybe ASRS sent up dozen of them.

And lastly fuck specs that asks for BC, unless you do know the guy or they are clearly carrying another weapon that can fit a BC chances are they're installing the goddamn BC on their Mod88.

I've really got to disagree with you here. Especially for specs, who would lose valuable time running back to the LZ. Plus, the Echo drop pad got fixed to actually have a cooldown of 5 minutes, so sending down a crate every five minutes is way faster than even hauling backpacks to the DS, as well as more efficient.

If the transport PO goes back and forth at an even faster pace than the pad cooldown then it's not, running back and forth into the hangar with backpacks without armor slowdown is a very fast way to transport stuff en masse.
Plus who wants to drag the crate from hangar back to cargo anyway. The only reason to have a crate on LZ would be for evaccing all those supplies, which most of the times don't get evacced anyway because that takes time.
Not to mention that plasteel cades on FOB are never dismantled before evac too when they really could just be to recover the plasteel.

And obviously if the spec is somewhere that can only be reached by crates then that's better. Though most of the battles in this game are in underground areas that crates can't reach, so yeah.
