They stated I could appeal again immediately.
Apparently I was/am using the appeals system incorrectly.
Additionally I was under a very different impression of how discord administration worked, how the forum currently works, and how bans are applied. This was pure ignorance on my part.
Regarding the situation:
I can see how the joke I made can be seen as 18+ and after understanding the process of how bans are made, why the staff made the decision they did (IE its logical if not enforced as much as it should be).
How I will improve my behavior: I wasn't huge problem before but I will stop posting all memes in shitposting.
30 days scares the hell out of me due to the old methods of 30 days is next to a permaband. Something I learned is it is up to the discord staff to determine what is appropriate(18+) and not up to me or pg13 or any other standards. If that's the case less is better.
I'll still talk with people I know and chat sometimes but I I'll probably cut out joking for the foreseeable future.
