up at the top right click notifications then inbox. On the left side scroll down till you see edit avatar. Took me forever to find it too.
This suggestion just seems like unnecessary coddling.
Unless someone's avatar is outright pornographic or is in very poor taste, I fail to see a reason to police them.
I've never heard this one before, but I think anyone who would have noticed such avatars before are people who would already know of such things, and people who didn't now will go looking for it. Seems like a big fuss over what was a non-issue unless the content was grossly explicit.
