    Your Character Name?
    Prime Lurker (BOO-145)

    Accused Byond Key(if known):
    InsaneRed

    Accused Character Name
    Nathan

Approximate time and date of the incident (Central US Time for fastest results)
    11:00-12:00 GMT

    What rule(s) were broken:
    Synthetic Programming Rule 5+6

    Description of the incident:
While doing a little harassing outside of the FOB I notice a synthetic zoom out of the FOB into robotics at lightspeed and heatseak onto a fellow lurker and immediately starts bashing it's head in and then dies pretty soon after, guessing he rushed out while damaged?

    >While a Synthetic Unit is moving between locations, returning wounded, guarding the FoB, or patrolling the colony alone or in small groups, they are allowed to defend themselves and the lives of other humans, provided that assistance from others nearby is ineffective or unable to arrive in time.

He didn't defend himself since he attacked first, he didn't defend marines since they were already dead and there were plenty of marines nearby to effectively assist as you can see one of them get a kill (the one he zoomed past) and the two others that chased off the other lurker

Oh and bonus points for instead of continuing to treat the wounded marines in the FOB AND not bothering to cade the single entrance protecting them from robotics seems pretty funny to me

    Evidence (screenshots, logs, etc):

Logs are primarily of Nathan, with a few logs from other people sprinkled in where i felt they help time stamping the vid or provided context.

Additional logs were pulled for the sake of putting the video into context for the council to deliberate.

For '6 - If engaged in combat, you must ensure the threat disengages or is disabled. If it runs away, you are not to chase it to the ends of the Earth,' A synthetic can defend themselves and allied personnel. Just because a synthetic retreats with their patient, and returns to collect a downed marine does not mean that a synthetic is chasing when a xeno chooses to camp those corpses. In 'If it runs away', the 'it' is referring to threat, which did not happen. Also, this was not the frontline, so the 'This aggressive behavior, however, is suppressed in large-scale engagements' does not apply. This is outright denied.

For '5 - Do not perform needlessly suicidal actions. Your self-preservation comes first.' Approximately, 150 seconds before the start of the video, Nathan asked for help at robotics. It is clearly shown, in the video, that FOB was not secure on the north side of robotics, nor the northeast corner of the LZ2. This was due to lack of supplies. His patient also had an open rib chest, which he removed from the situation before attacking. To be clear, if enemy forces are in FOB, fighting may be the only logical to act in self-preservation, particularly when allied forces to not respond. Therefore, this is also denied.

Thank you, Ito and the additional logs that were pulled to clarify the situation leading up to the video. MakeofOak, thank you for the report.
