    Upgrading the APC & Checklist

    1. Security Cam Console, on Almayer, upstairs has all almayer's cams on it- including APC cameras. If you install a downstairs Sec Cam Console inside APC, it won't be able to watch APC's interior + exterior cameras, but upstairs one(since they're technically on the same z-level as APC interior) CAN watch its cameras-

    I recommend stealing two and installing them under the driver & gunner's seats- WHY you might ask? They can keep these cams open WHILE driving & gunning- it makes it MUCH easier to 'hear' when people are talking inside w/o having to cancel Driving/Gunning mode- you can even control your character inside the Cam's windows

    2. Medical freezers- Not required BUT can store nigh-infinite medical supplies, and the items these things can hold will possibly surprise you

    3. 1-2 Defib Recharger- wrench'd down inside APC & lets medics recharge defibs in the field

    4. 1x Cell Charger- for batteries, probably won't be used

    5. Crew monitor- Crew Monitor Boards can be found in the board vendor downstairs of engineering, 2x of them. Build the computer frame outside the APC, drag it in, wrench down, & finish. Might not be used but could def be made use of by many non apc crew, & lets you convert the APC into an ambulance role

    6. DS Cam Console- the ones in hangar tend to be set to this- not crucial, prolly won't be used but has niche uses for example if FOB is being sieged and you're south LZ, watching the DS's cockpit cams can give you an extra vantage point to inform your decisions.

    7. C4 + Breach charges- helps apc to create 3-tile highways

    8. Extinguishers- worth bringing a bunch, even a water tank- Incend OB, APC has a unique advantage it braving the flames & saving FF'd marines

    9. Flood lights are more useful than people give them credit imo- ultimately though it's a big old flashlight/flare. Keeping 1-3 ibut even 1 will congest traffic inside by blocking people inside, so it def depends on who you're working with inside APC

    10. Filling transport's vendor is a bitch, I can't recc using it exactly, though I'm sure there's an optimum way to make use of it(imo the most i'd prolly do is MAYBE make sure it has one of all possible items.

    11. The DRIVER should hold 1 signaller- they should give a matching signaller to a volunteer marine who rides inside the APC, manning door guns, but most importantly acting as hands for the VCs- but WHY exchange matching signallers? This volunteer should Send Signal to the driver when EVER they decide to leave the Interior of APC- on the flipside, when the Driver wants them to come inside, they can Send Signal back OR if Volunteer beeps Driver saying, "Leaving APC" the driver could quickly beep them back, which means: No, belay exiting the vehicle, I'm not ready.


    Security Camera Console x 4 Obtained via Deconning Consoles
    2x Almayer Sec Cams(Upstairs)
    1x DS Cams Console
    1x Planetside Sec Cam Console(to access planetside cam network)
    Crew Monitor Board x1 + Computer Console(2x glass, 5x wire)
    1-2 Defib Chargers
    1x Cell Charger
    2x Signallers, possibly more.

    Good example of doing good damage, getting good kills, doing good transport(and many other supporting errands, transporting xeno corpses, marines corpses, delivering MRES, dispersing fire extinguishers, MREs, and replacement guns, boots, and armor yadda yadda), keeping an eye out for dead marines via the crew monitor, making use of Sec Cam Console's APC cams to 'listen' and 'watch' inside the APC while manning guns or driving, and also pulling back to do quick maintenance, but not wasting an immense amount of time driving all the way back to FOB to fix it- sometimes sure, but mostly you find a place where terrain favors you + your gunners on standby, ready to do an amount of damage to a xeno that makes the attack not at all worth it.
