I was a witness that saw everything except the Initial arrest and crime that started it but as stated by the Player Report Rules:
    6. You may not make an report for another player if they were the victim of a rule break.
Since the victim obviously doesn't mind and imo the round was more fun, despiten the rulebreaks, this should be closed, so I'd Like to echo jeffery: who cares administrative autism is the cancer that kills this game

Jeffery is a retard so that part is fine. He's not the problem here. If he's fine with being griefed, that's none of anyones concern. But that is not the problem here.

If you were to replace Jeffery in this case with any other marine player or entity, the problem takes another meaning.

The problem here is that this is a bad precedent that should not be normalized as okay. It's something that should not be happening. Otherwise it will happen every round or every time we have a prisoner in the brig during hijack.

The person in question is by the rules required to follow marine law, and him breaking it does not necessarily need to be related to a victim. It's about making it clear that executing people without authorization is not okay and should never be done again.

Hi there! In reviewing the logs, this seems to be a pretty clear case of violating ML as an MP, and using the role's authority inappropriately.

Players who select MP are expected to follow ML, failing to do sure is against server rules as per Rule 11, Military Law: Mandatory Obedience which states:
The following roles are required to follow Marine Law by the server rules.
Breaking Marine Law may result in jobbans or further consequences.
    - All Military Police roles
    - Senior Enlisted Advisor
    - USCM Synthetics

In this case, the MP broke ML with the unauthorized execution of the SO. Execution needs to be approved by both CMP and XO; or by the CO; or authorized via Provost or High Command. Skipping formal procedure and expediting an execution during hijack is only allowed when the execution has already been approved.
Please be advised that when you select an MP role, you are expected to both understand and adhere to ML, and repeated offenses may lead to timed or job bans.

The logs do not show a reasonable RP reason to execute the SO at hijack instead of escorting them to evac or releasing them. Based on dialog leading up the the execution, this appears to be Griefing. On CM, griefing is defined as "the intent of one player wanting to cause grief or annoyance to other players or the server without a valid roleplay reason." I feel that taking the SO out of the round at hijack falls under this rule.

As the MP has no negative history aside from one instance of netspeak, and baring in mind that their actions were a fairly egregious example of breaking ML as MP, I am going to try to balance the severity of the incident against the otherwise pretty clean slate and place a warning for Rule 1l, Military Law and a note for Rule 4, Griefing.
