    MP Main discussion/qq'ing thread

Move along marine mains, your normally scheduled broadcasts of beno hating or weirdly in depth meme strategy guides are further down the hall

We good now? okay, fellow MP mains, I have gathered you here today to discuss a myriad of issues plaguing our great nation, we as a people have always struggled, faced adversity, and always fought back, but instead of staying scattered to the distant corners of the server, and the discord, today we shall unite under one banner to face head on the tyrany of delta squad mains and Whitelisted Commanders and forum deleting staff. We are here to rise again, and discuss issues faced by ordinary MP mains

Let us begin with a discussion on mutinies, my brothers and sisters, the floor is yours.

The easiest way to handle mutinies is to let the marines do what they want

imagine wanting to be an MP main. That should be reason enough for a permaban for being a toxic player.

Military Police are probably at their strongest right now, despite the handful of bugs and nerfs they've faced.

Regarding mutineers, the best thing to do is to tell loyalists to stay clear. Having a mixture of mutineers and loyalists in one room makes it difficult to deal with because they all look the same and you dont.

It's better to have the loyalists standby incase you fail rather than have them as active fighters.

Oh and I'd probably say the rise of MP mains again is quite a pleasant surprise.

Main MPs stand under a banner. MPs are fully dead as nobody can even do the marine law right.

Clearly, no one reads the marine law and just reads the crimes at top.
Detainment and Brig Procedures. Everyone fails this one right here.
First thing for the prisoner "Set timer"
Marines spend longer in the brig getting stripped and replaced with an orange jumpsuit then sitting in the cell.

There should honestly be a change in Marine Law where your timer starts the moment you are arrested, not when you get to brig. This applies as long as you are in the custody of a MP on the way to brig; if you get free'd by a marine, your timer resets + you get resisting arrest.

This would honestly reduce timers by a huge load as the time it takes to arrest, cuff, then drag a marine to brig usually is around 2-3 minutes, 5 if you are in a off part of the ship or have to deal with marines in the way. This doesn't account for processing, aka full stripping marines, giving them prison uniforms and headset, then finally setting the timer. So something that should only last 10 minutes in brig is actually 15 or even 20 if you run into problems.

    What MP nerfs?

this was the last MP update and it's literally 3 months old.
You now have indestructible windows in brig, prisoners can NOT break free anymore.
tackling a MP who's arresting someone is now an OOC issue and breaking into brig to free someone is also an OOC issue

    You've only been receiving buffs

As far as i am aware, only interfering with an arrests at roundstart is OOC issue, because you (squad marines), usually, don't have reasons to interfere with lawfull arrests at roundstart.
About prisoners breaking free: i don't understand how is it buff, because i don't think that any prisoner could break free without help from outside if MPs were watching brig.

Note: If the prisoner is removed from his cell for ANY REASON the timer is PAUSED. Time spent outside a cell does NOT count towards time being served for the crime. To properly brig a prisoner verify the following checklist in no particular order.
Also, while MP is stripping prisoner from his gear he (prisoner) is, technically, outside of his cell.
