Which of the following are you reporting? 2. Behavior involving Misconduct
Description of the incident As I was playing as Delta SL, I got several orders from command, from CO in particular, to go and complete certain orders, which I (and/or my character from RP side) found as incompetent and unnecessary dangerous (yes, marine's life is dangerous in general, but not suicidal).
While we performed another order (pushing the caves), I repeatedly told Command that we have not enough manpower, we are being flanked, we have no medic etc, but still tried to follow the order. As a result, I and some others got capped. I got repeatedly blamed by command that I did a poor job, and that it was I who didn't follow the orders.
It made me furious, and I spitted all I could at them, probably even with a bit of toxicity (for that I already apologized before the CO player). At that time marines situation became better and from my SL's point of view, pushing the caves and clearing the hive was the only way to achieve victory. However CO ordered all forces to retreat to FOB. I shouted "do not follow CO's orders", because from my character RP view, CO was already shown to be incompetent.
For that I got noted by admin staff, because "you cannot refuse command orders unless you are in mutiny". Unfortunately, I couldn't perform mutiny, since my SL was already capped.
And personally, I don't think that marines and SLs must mindlessly follow command orders, especially obviously suicidal and/or stupid of tactical side. After all, marines are humans with their own will, unlike xenos.
Therefore, I would like the note to be removed. I agree with the statement, that command orders are absolute, and you must not act against them, unless in mutiny (for example, openly protest against CO's decidions during the briefing). But that exact situation was out of normal regulations (CO sending people to death without support, and then, when situation becomes better and there is a posibility to push - CO orders mass retreat).
P.S - quote from Squad Leader page on Wiki: "Manage your squad's supply lines and make sure your marines make it back in one piece. No one wants another folded flag being sent home so keep as many of them alive as possible". This is exactly what I did, when got CO's orders to push - tried to minimize the casualties, and later, when CO tried to f*ck up the situation even more, I couldn't stand it, so I warned people not to follow such un-pragmatical order.
