What happened to XUR?

The man found all the Old Ways to powergame as marine. When the powergaming reached Honk Honk Honk levels, admins had to nerf a lot of shit (both marine and default items) to stop Boris. But when they found out that he always found the way to get a new powergamey exploit they decided to ban him

He vanished mostly after he was job banned from SL. To be honest, he had a cult of personality who basically powegamed everything the could to win.

Half the older nerfs is due to him and his sycophants.

why'd he jobbanned and what got nerfed because of him? hyperzine?

Basically he did stuff that was mechanically possible, so people got upset.

Xur did a lot of stuff that could be considered powergamey if you stretch the word, in order for him to balance the field while xenos were getting nonstop buffs and marines were getting nerfs. Unlike what is being said, he didn't have a hype crew, he was just genuinely good at the game and finding weird ways to kill xenos. We got on fairly well, if I recall.
