Admind had given us Holy Hand grenade due to a bad xeno rulebreak at LZ1 on roundstart, told us to make it count. As we land at the landing site for a second time, the player misclicks trying to place it into his satchel.
Seventy marines were gibbed immediatly and the other 5 or so mortally wounded. Quickest round i ever saw.
Former member of the Commanders Council, PM me if you want help with making a whitelist or have a question.
it used to be a thing where xenos could pounce to move items, meaning that you could pounce on live grenades and shove them back into marines.
guess who bonked a wall with a live grenade on top of them.
Worst 'nades have got to be..
Either when I was on an ERT and accidentally firebombed the shuttle -Twice-..
Or when I was defending the CIC and learned the hard way when HEFA were first introduced and scissored four Marines with shrapnel.
sad to say i have never had a nade in my loadout i just use the MK1 with flammenwerfer
one "xenos are on the almayer fuck fuck fuck" I was tossing an m15 grenade only to hit some background looking structure. Grabbed it again and quickly chucked it so it would hit the xenos. good toss! hit 3 of em.
I did not learn.
20 seconds later, I throw another grenade. hit the same structure. grab the grenade and quickly chuck it. hit the same structure AGAIN. then it asplodes.
Be me. Be on Ice. Nice. Run around like a good little deltard. Die, lose HPR. Grab rifle off off ground. Shoot benos. Die. Wake up. Follow Delta Spec and two others while hunting for remnants. Find two dead alpha marines with explosives pouches and grenade rigs. ITSGAMERTIME.jpeg Proceed to apply explosives liberally to every situation by hand, even cook off a perfect HEDP to explode on landing on a spitter. Load 2 HEDP in rifle because running low on grenades now and ditch the belt. Wander around some more. See boiler getting chased. Press Macro for toggle Ugbl. Click behind boiler. Thooonk. Dont see grenade at intended location. Look at feet. Grenade. Look forward. Ice wall. Ice is nice.
