Biography
Background
Commander Amare Babatunde Jabari was born to a stowaway parents on board the freighter Burden to a family of 5 children, among whom is currently an administrator at the Jester's Ring Administration Zone. At his youth, he left the Icebowl Colony to form his own gang in the outskirts for enjoyment away from administration. It was until the recent rebellion of the Planet New Lombardi in the early stages of the CLF rebellion that commended to Commander Amare to the man he is today.
It was a moment of crisis for the USCM having to deal with CLF rebellion with so little resources after the UPP war. New Lombardi was among the critical planets to consider due to its vast manufacturing, agricultural, and mining activities in the sector that could help the CLF war effort. However, due to Amare's natural leadership abilities and skill as well as the vast manpower he has acquired over the years, at age 26 he made a deal with the USCM that is to have him as a Commander in the USCM under thorough training and to see the stars IF he was able to deliver New Lombardi to US control.
High Command did not take his actions seriously but noted that small rebel elements in New Lombardi can truly assist in disrupting the CLF war effort and allow the USCM to have an easier time occupying New Lombadi after taking the nearby moons and stations from the CLF. It was this grusome 3 year campaign that with the USCM struggles to reach near New Lombardi that Commander Amare with his tactical and strategic skills was able to obtain key areas of New Lombardi for easy occupation of the planet and utterly destroyed any CLF resistance for the USCM.
When the CLF bases on the outlaying moons heard of this they evacuated, leaving the USCM a clear path to New Lombardi. To the shock of the Admiral, the planet was presented to him under then Warlord Amare Babatunde Jabari of New Lombardi, to which he was immediately offered a post in the USCM. And thus concludes the story on how Amare entered into the service of the USS Almayer.
