Description of the incident:

Joined as the XO at roundstart, Sal was CO. Contemplated cryoing due to his current attitude towards me on the forum and PMs, decided against it as I wasn't going to let someone impact my round. Manned Req, did the Req line. Turns out it was an event with CLF holding hostages, pointed out the bits on the message that the CO had fixed, he effectively told me to shut up. Red flag number one.

Spent some time sitting at the CIC, mentioned a few things to the CO about the marines, kept Command channel up-to-date on the situation, mostly kept quiet aside from that. The CO is too busy talking to CLF to deal with commanding the marines.

Suddenly, 35 xenos pop up on the report out of nowhere, squads start taking heavy contact and screaming for orders. Myself, squad leads, the sole SO and the entire command channel are reporting this, the CO sits and continues to talk to the CLF, ignoring his responsibilities as the one in charge. Seeing this, I move to the console and order all squads to withdraw to the LZ, so we can set up a proper firebase and push out from there instead of being scattered. The CO instantly chimes in and tells everyone to disregard that - without providing any actual orders for the squads to do, effectively leaving them in the lurch. I point out that he's too busy pussyfooting around with CLF and ignoring his command responsibilities so I've taken charge while he negotiates. I'm trying to man two of the Overwatch consoles at the time to monitor squads and keep them alive. He walks up behind me and unloads an entire mateba mag into me, denies revives to doctors by not letting them in so I permadie.

This is falling into metagrudge territory as well as the other two rules mentioned above. He's been harassing me on the forums which I've pointed out for posting on his other report. This is a joke, and is pushing me away from the game like nothing else has. At the very start, I contemplated cryoing to avoid him, but believed he'd be the bigger man and not bring a grudge into the game and thereby disrupt the round for the marines by killing his 2IC and one of the only three people in the CIC.
Boy was I wrong.

You ignored pretty much every single Command I gave, announced contradictory commands, argued with everything I said and then hopped on every Comms channel I used to undermine my command.

What the did you expect?

I got some time while I wait during this round so lets break down a couple things while we wait on logs.

-I asked you to stop airing your grievances on the Comms

-I gave orders to the marines regarding the xenos, you directly after made a contradictory announcement.

-You bitched and moaned about everything I decided on the entire mission.

-I have no idea who you are outside of seeing you on the forums, I had no 'meta-grudge' in the way I acted with you. Only since you made this report do I connect your character with forum account.

-If anything you decided to throw hissy fits because I was the CO, not the other way around.

I was the SO described in the OPs post (Irkalla Resheph), we had an SO on the ground negotiating and the others were SSD few mins into the round so it was basicly me and Cyrus. From what I can tell is that Cyrus was focussing on the Xeno threat at hand, as was I, and the CLF hostage situation was taken care of by the CO and the Negotiator SO on the prison. From what I can tell the both of us ordered the Marines to get on the "Bioweapon Threat"/Xenomorphs even if they have to leave the FOB since they seemingly caused the distress signal in the first place, and reports from groundside were proving that aswell. A bit into the round the CO walked in and BE'ed the XO for undermining their Authority I guess. Kind of expected a getting a BE aswell since I was busy getting the marines out and fight and keeping the pressure on the Xenos so they wont curbstomp us once the boilers and crushers get into position while constantly reminding them to NOT interfer with the CLF business (like the XO did from what I can tell, could have been command banter, uncertain about that). Actually I encouraged Bravo to provide further escort for the hostages and CLF since the area they were in turned into an active warzone.

It really felt like the CO gave a bit of flak to the XO during the round and disregarded genuine concerns of the XO as soon the Xenos showed up.

Since I was more or less witnessing this entire situation (albeit with a VERY dispersed attention) I'd felt like I had to post providing the little I got from that situation.

Thanks for the input man, it was a crazy hectic round and the CiC performed great. I just wanna clear up that I was in the CiC the duration of that, I like to use the tactical map on the east side of the CO console as it doesn't tend to bug out. (Jones also gave me a dope tablet.)

Chaz next time you have issue with Commands, you're free to talk with me in local chat, but hopping from Channel to channel in the manner you did, especially with the hostage scenario was way outta line.

I've said my fair share by now though so we'll just need to wait and see what story the logs tell us.

(The logs start pretty early too, a lot of him screaming on the Comms about 15-20 min in that if I deployed more than 3 people to the station the hostages would die etc etc.)

Posts from this point should be for logs, what was witnessed specifically, or the council or managers. Anything else (ie. just quoting the logs to argue over what happened) will get you an infraction as I don't want more issues in this report.

Welp, logs back up my story and show you utterly deserving of the BE as well as admitting bias in your opening statement. I'd like to see action taken for a false report/community harassment if Staff deems it suitable. I look forward to the CO Council's verdict and the closing of a silly report, thanks CM have an Easter Day!

Well we in the CO Council have looked over this report extensively and to be honest we were a little confused at first but have come to a conclusion on the matter.
Chazz, we are unsure what you expected at all from your actions. You undermined the COs authority on several occasions and thus that made you a valid target for the BE. It is not your job to go against the COs orders, nor is it your job to second guess him.
Bobat was well within in his right to battlefield execute you.

All in all, the CO Council believes that NO action should be taken against bobat at this time.
