    Plans for Cyrochamber

    As a medic there is nothing I hate more than marking someone with a black card because they have 650 damage or something, especially if I am alone.

    Having played doctor I rarely see the severely injured like that (ever) make it to the OR. And I also rarely see the Cyrotubes used for anything.

    Now my understanding about the cyro tubes is that they dont really have much of a use right now.

    What do you think of allowing the cyro tubes to stop the unreviable countdown, and heal people. So people that would usually die/ be black carded can be given a shot. It would make sense lore wise because your brain is being preserved by the cold while your body is healed.

    Ideally in the field you could stasis bag people who are flashing skull at 600 damage. Air evac them for cyro healing. Maybe we could do a new card like blue for cyro?

    Since there are only two tubes I dont think this would be overpowered for marines: would give doctors something else to do/another treatment option; and allow medics to try and save critical people like SLs that might otherwise be black carded.

    We already have dnr for those that wouldnt want to wait.

    I also think it would be an easy change to make implementation wise.

    Thoughts?

    Or for marines whose brains have been cooling in a tunnel somewhere.
