Find a chokepoint, spam sticky, get a boiler and a rav with it's new strain that ignores armor
If queen's good, she can just devoi when you hit max T3s/T2s and go ham

acid mines can help slow them down a little bit and the acid supply is more plentiful than huggers. burrower needs to wrangle some spitters to help them lay them down because burrower's own plasma regen is too slow for it, much as carrier needs to wrangle drones to feed it plasma, but everyone is usualy too busy doing their own things to manage that

assemble in force at a chokepoint that doesn't put the hive in jeopardy

this is most important on prison, where if you don't stop the marines early they reach hive fast and pin the majority of xenos down

Wait for John Titor to balance the gameplay. Best way to counter Unga Rush.

Allow them to push further than they should and then cut off their retreat.

If you don't have sticky resin everywhere to slow down marines, you deserve to die. Apply sticky resin to hive and have boilers rotate bombarding at marines. One boiler should always be firing.

A common reason xenos die is because they get flanked. The counter to this is to be proactive in scouting and knowing how many marines there are and where they're coming from. Then once you find the flank led by Rigga or some other bold SL, you wait until they're just a screen away from breaching your hive, then you rush them with everything you got (as long as it means the front'll hold) with the Queen screech. Your goal is to kill the brave people leading the flank because marine morale usually crumbles after they see the first wave die terribly. Bonus points if you get the SL.

tl;dr apply sticky resin, apply chain boiler gas, apply screech + entire xeno team to flanks

Also spam facehugger mines and acid mines within those sticky resin fields and behind corners and walls. Nothing is more annoying and morale destroying than, as a marine main, having to manually clear out an entire cave network just to *Maybe* advance safely while being constantly harassed by spitters. Or finding the main alien force only to watch it run away as you crawl through resin, weeds, and acid.

One of the best counters to a marine rush is a creative crusher. Where there are spots crushers are charge through, you can instantly cause 3-4 medevacs just with one charge.
