I don't understand why they went with such a short season. One of the biggest stories on television and what will basically be the de facto canon end of GOT (since I dont have faith in George RR Martin finishing the book series), and they are finishing it in SIX EPISODES?? A boatload of storylines and seasons of hype (Night king, "Winter is coming", THE ULTIMATE BATTLE VERSUS THE UNDEAD, "oh we'll just quickly wrap that up in an episode") cannot be wrapped up this quickly without causing trouble.
