Acid blood needs a rework. Part of that is the execution idea I thought of. But right now it needs to change. Perhaps an adrenaline system where you get adrenaline for being in close quarters to a xeno that gives you a sort of passive pain immunity, and landing a PB gives you a fuck ton. Basically allows you to keep fighting. A 20% damage nerf is probably solid, if combined with some pain changes.
Pain damage still needs to be fixed, but I think acid splash is fine the way it is. The goal of CM is to reenact the movie, and that was a pretty important thing in it.

Acid blood is very fun and engaging (the rav didnt do that much damage to me, heavy armor and the clip is a few month old)

Yeah acid blood could probably use a Nerf for T3s, because they can normally take it, but leave it unchanged for T1s and T2s, because PBs to them normally mean death.
I wouldn't mind, at least I wouldn't have to listen to how it's fine that 1 buckmeme shot kills you at full health because you take some acid damage in the process
Issue also becomes prelevent when the xenos are aggressivly pushing you and you are forced to fire at them in CQC combat, meaning if the xeno fails to even swipe you in melee you can still take outrageous amounts of damage from the acid blood splatter.

Yeah, I'd be up for a minor-to-moderate reduction in damage, but anything else is overkill. Acid blood is part of the game and should stay that way.

Besides, KeloDerm erases burns hard, it's just a question of if medics have it.
