    I think they should bring back money and interactions with it. The CL is mostly powerless right now because no one really cares about the money he can print.

    Hell ""royal jelly" is in the code.. and it can revive xenos during techweb.. maybe let him buy that.

    It's a shame they scrapped the defcon system. A CL specific one would have been interesting.

    Trick to CL is to spam fax crazy shit. Honest to god and hand on the bible. I spam faxed HC and WY the basic story of the Fall of Constantinople. Mercadior cut off the USS Almayer phone bill and sent PMCs. Persistence and creativity pay dividends. For inspiration look to the god king of CM CL Randolph P. Checkers AKA Tex of the Black Pants Legion.

    Idea, give CL W-Y jelly that can resurrect a xeno loyal to them. Have a queen body, goes missing, CL now has a new pet hive hidden in the back of the office. Could create some interesting gameplay for the CL.

    Add in a requesitions system, that uses rare items from the ship, give the CL a button that allows them to call a personal ERT that uses a different, customized pool, and add a small docking port that is linked to the CL office by a ladder to a different Z-Level. The CL would then be able to do anything from recieve a mutineer group of freelancers or a warband of CLF, to getting a friendly PMC team to protect him and the ship.

    IMO the CL currently exists as more of a role for a wacky corporate stooge to roleplay as a numbskull, rather than the cold hearted, profit driven machine that it should be. Perhaps give the CL some side objectives that could be completed for rewards, not necessarily antagonistic, maybe recruiting marines, sending them on a shuttle to be "trained" in to a loyal PMC to serve the CL, perhaps putting secret documents somewhere in maints, and the CL and some MTs have to find it and send it to the 3WE, and receive something crazy in exchange.

    IMO the "roleplay" in CL does not really extend far beyond making and performing gimmicks, sometimes it works well, but most of the time, the external forces in CM force the gameplay to be rather one dimensional, for fear of bringing the almighty Bwoink down upon oneself. With the changes to MPs, MTs, and the loosening of ML/SOP, I think it might be good to give the CL more ability to change the HvH factor on the ship, for instance, remove ASRS budget autogeneration, and instead have it be W-Y that is sending the funds. Allow the CL to shut off the funds, if the operation is going poorly or what have you, it would give the CL some leverage on the ship, and would make more sense, considering that the ship is so heavily supported by W-Y anyway. Some ideas to allow the CL to have some more power and relevance on the ship, some are dumb, some are stupid, they are all bad. But maybe something good is in there, an idea, hopefully.
