1 - All would remove all unreallistical "field healings", from all species.
As in "you can stabilize someone, and can remove debuffs caused by injuries, but you can't refill hitpoints on field".

2 - Would give 2 "free respawns" for every player. Based on a "1000 points earn a new respawn" mechanic. Where by respawning you get a random name and character (independent of species).
You only get more respawns by doing certain actions (landing hits, building stuff, fixing stuff, healing others, etc....)
But you LOSE respawn points by continuously doing bad stuff (overdosing others, friendly fire, etc...).

3 - All fight related gameplay would be turned into a "high lethality" version.
Where acid splashed actually cause much more damage.
    Bullets will cripple characters.
    Etc...
Xenomorphs would be more like "close quarter's nighmare" and less like bullet sponges.

4 - Only "base healing" would be effective for refilling hitpoints.
Cryotanks would do it for marines.
    Predators would have an analogue.
And xenomorphs would need a resin pool, to be dispensed and refilled by the hivelord or queen.

5 - No barricades, no resin walls, etc...

6 - Turrets would be very effective. Landmines too. But those wouldn't be "safe space denial device" by any means.

Super high lethality would turn this into a VERY different game. No one likes marines being snowflakey, but if everyone is playing three to five different randomly generated marines every round then any ability to RP or make friends with people between rounds goes right out the window. A comment was made earlier that "Rocket Tag Gameplay isn't fun." I think that hyper-lethal/rocket-tag gameplay has a place in some games, and that CM isn't one of them. As is, it's very easy for a xeno or marine to die if they're out of position, and I think the current balance is good.

no latejoin humans beyond first 20mins except for noncombat roles and ert/cryo ert
    less building materials
xenos less tanky so marines can enjoy actually killing things instead of them running away 99% of the time
more abundant buried larva supply to make up for less tanky xenos
some xeno classes buffed in speed/damage/ability cooldown times so that they can still put up a fight despite being less tanky and hopefully not have to keep using queen screech as a crutch
faster evo/upgrade times to make up for them dying more often

oh yeah, and uh, more decent places in the maps for survivors to try to hold out so its not the same spot every time

Make xenos a threat instead of a joke.

Nerf every weapon except for the shotgun n spec weapons, taking damage from some retard firing off screen is boring as both xeno and marine.

Buff preds to become gods of war instead of walking lootboxes you click twice and they die.

What would YOU do to balance the gameplay?
Increase xeno damage and speed until a xeno of any caste can reliably win 1v1 even if bald. Remove most traditional stun combat from them in return. Replace what remains with Neth's Daze mechanic.
    What changes would YOU make?
Increase marine damage too. Make nests impossible to escape on your own, make it harder to get facehugged (Carrier becomes more support than hugger focused too), and reduce xeno reliance on players as hosts (perhaps an expansion on the "larva stockpile" mechanic).
Keep giving marines more ways to sway the scales IF they have someone competent on it. Examples would be current supply drops, CAS, the likes. My additions would include things such as airdropped fortifications assembled on Almayer and a Research update.
Why would YOU make those changes?
To shift balance back towards xenos but without the hugger-, tackle- and machinegun neuro-spamming cancer that was 2016.
What would YOU do to make things more interesting for xenos?
Give Queen an RTS interface to organize and order around xenos remotely and clearly.
Give all castes interactions where they can buff each other by working together. Examples would include pounces turning regular slashes into special attacks, boilers possessing an aura that gives other xenos armour piercing for 10 seconds (encourages accidentally guarding the boiler too!), drone-castes repairing a sliver of armour of nearby xenos on weeds whenever their use their abilities, etc.
What would YOU do about predators?
Fix the problems they have currently with their armour being underwhelming and weapons having no AP, but otherwise don't buff them. Keep them up to a higher RP standard not reliant on slashing shit up like an one-man army.
What do YOU think the win ratio should be? Round#:Marines:Xenos
20:80, with marine defeats being satisfying and victories legend-worthy.

I also agree with removing the potential for one-hit kills and more abundant but weak sentries, as others have said.
