Yes, I received a ban from VORE-station.net for being a negative influence on their community, the ban was applied recently and without warning or explanation, I played the station frequently and I was harassed by players for being a rulebook and not participating in erp as well as playing a non-furry character they didn't like.

Communication is a vital part of being a Moderator. Are you willing to actively do so with the team? Yes, of course.
Common Staff Situations
A player randomly shoots someone at round start and MPs have detained him. I would "bwoink" said character and ask him why he attacked the other player, if he claimed it was an accident I would look at the surrounding logs and chat before and following the incident, then I would make a judgement on whether or not further action should be taken.
A player ahelps that a predator has violated the honor code when killing him, what should you do? Look at the logs surrounding the kill, then if the claims appears true I will look at the actions of the victim and then look into the predator's mission and if I see a conflict I will contact the player playing as the predator and inform him that he has broken his honor code.
You see a player walking around the ship naked and clearly lost at roundstart. I will contact the player and ask if they are confused, if they tell me they are I will guide them to their correct preparation area and give them clear instructions on how to get set up and get in contact with their team.
A player is being very rude to you in adminhelps, calling you names and arguing everything you say. He is requesting to speak to an Admin+ staff member. I would ask them politely to calm down and I would see if I could contact an administrator for them, if they calmed down I would try to let them continue with the round while alerting admin staff to their behavior with me.
A player ahelps that a marine is named 'John Doe', how do you deal with this? Message the player with the name "John Doe" and inform him that the name breaks server rules and that I can remove him from the round so he may change his character.
You see a Maintenance Tech running around in armor and carrying a rifle. The security level is green and there has been no threat to the ship in the round at this point. Well I would rather see it handled in IC, so I might message the Maintenance Tech and tell them its green and they shouldn't be doing so, but I think I would alert the Military Police via a message and see if they can handle it IC'ly.
A Marine ahelps that they were killed by a survivor. It is early round, the Marines have just landed, and the survivor claims that they were outright hostile to all Marines from the get-go and openly stated their intentions. How do you deal with this? I would investigate the escalation between the players, if it proved that there was indeed a valid chain of escalation leading to the kill then I would inform the Marine of what happened, and I would message the Survivor that they should be more clear with their intent in the future.
You receive an ahelp from a player stating that an MP has locked them up in permanent confinement for running into Requisitions and taking an attachment that was laying around. As I stated before I far prefer things be handled IC'ly than through admin intervention, however I would notify the person confined that they were correct to ahelp, I would then contact the MP and inform him of the maximum sentencing times for the infractions committed (roughly one hour), and if they seemed to argue the time with me I would then make a note against them and become involved in the round and fix the issue.
The round is stagnating. There are 30 marines and 4 aliens. The marines won't leave the ship, and the aliens won't attack. What would you do, to "encourage" the sides to engage each other? I would message the CO of the ship to prompt him to attack, if that didn't work, I would see about spawning new players on the planet as survivors and try to lure the marines down, I'm not quite sure how else I could handle this alone.
You are playing as a medic, and another medic overdoses all your patients and prevent marines from being revived. It seems like it may be on purpose. How do you deal with this situation? I would investigate the situation, if it seemed like he was actually doing it intentionally and knowingly removing players from the round without reason, I would have him job-banned from medical and counsel him through "bwoink".
The round ends, a Marine starts shooting a hostile CLF member and the CLF member ahelps about being killed after the round ended. The CLF and the Marines are engaged in open hostilities, why is he complaining about being attacked by his enemy?
A Marine is running around disarming, punching and stealing gear at round start. You receive an ahelp from one of the victims. I would message the self-antaging player and inform him that he needs to cease the behavior, and I would spawn myself as an MP and see if I could resolve it through IC.
You receive an ahelp from a Marine saying that he was killed by another Marine. When you ask the murderer why, he said it was because the other Marine had punched him. Inform him of the poor escalation and have him arrested through IC and then processed for a temporary ban.
You find out that there is an improper mutiny occuring. The mutineers are rallying together and preparing to storm the CIC. How would you attempt to resolve this situation? Inform them of what was incorrect about their behavior, how to change their actions to become proper, and then see if they would like to continue once it's all in order.
There are minor racist comments going on IC. 9 of the 10 people are laughing and RPing but one player gets offended and Adminhelps about it. Inform the people making the comments that racism is not tolerated on the server and that they are harming other player's enjoyment of our server.
A marine opens fire at round start in briefing killing multiple marines and instantly logs off. I would report it to an administrator so that their ckey could be banned. Additionally I would see if I could shorten the respawn times for the people killed.
You see a player playing a Xeno larva/chestburster run towards the frontlines straight from the Xeno hive the second they burst and die. I would watch the player to see if they did it a second time, if they were new and confused I would give them an idea of what to actually do, but if it was intentional they would have to be punished with something like a temporary ban from the round or from playing as a xenomorph.
You see a Xeno memeing, saying AYYLMAO, REEEEEE etc in hivemind chat, as well as insulting the Queen. Tell them to stop, if they didn't I would remove them from the round and notify admins.
A Xeno player calls the shuttle a "dropship". A different Xeno player ahelps that it's low role play to call it a "dropship". Tell them it's being handled, message the original person who called it that and inform them of the comunications procedures for xenomorphs in how they don't know what it is.
A Command staff player at briefing near round-start mentions there are aliens on the planet. You receive an ahelp from a marine regarding this. Refer the command-staff player to the server RP rules, and help them fix it IC by referring to the "alien fauna on the planet and that they don't know what they're going into".
You find a Marine killing another Marine on the EVAC Pod to take the last spot and claims it was RP as he was saving himself. There are two other marines in the pod along with him. I would message the player who was killed, ask him what he thought of it, if he was upset and wanted to press the issue I would message the murderer. If the murderer claimed it was RP I might make a note of it and alert other staff while informing him of the poor escalation and Marine Law violations he made. If he seemed remorseful I might allow it to end there, if he seemed bitter about my involvement I would refer it to high admin staff and attempt to job-ban him temporarily because he was playing a marine character in a way that was ruining the RP for other characters in the game.
A player insults you after you warn them for a minor issue and begins ranting in LOOC or dchat about staff and mentions you specifically, referring to you as an 'idiot' and a 'retard'. I would ask them to stop, refer them to Rule 3, and I would inform other staff so that I don't seem biased and allow it to be handled by another staff member.
A player ahelps saying he was hugged by a Xeno when he was ssd, and wants the larva be removed from him via admin powers. How do you handle the ahelp? He shouldn't have been SSD near xenomorphs?
You see a fellow staff member give wrong information in an Adminhelp or incorrectly enforce a rule. I would ask the other staff member about their enforcement of the rule, if their actions made sense I wouldn't directly become involved, but I would admin message the player and give them the correct information.
Two staff are arguing in msay if an ahelp is breaking a rule. Because the staff who took the ahelp thinks the player broke a rule, they ban the player based on their interpretation of the rules, with others thinking the person was fine. What would you do? I would try to remain uninvolved in the argument so that I may continue moderating the round, but if they became disruptive I would ask them to take it out of the round and into discord before bringing it up to higher staff and recording the logs to be given to the other staff.
Why would you like to become a moderator? I would like to become a moderator because I've been involved in the SS13 community for a long time as a player and I've never found a server I enjoyed more than CM13, I occasionally take breaks from the server but I always come back to find it a thriving community which excites me because I am a massive fan of the Alien franchise and community. I would like to moderate in this community because I have never received completely unfair treatment from the staff even where I believed I was in the right about something, I have broken rules and been punished exactly as I should have been, and I have reformed properly because of this treatment. I would like to be able to provide the same thing to newer players and give them the good experiences I've had with moderation staff in the past, I love the server, and I want to give my free-time to helping the community stay safe, active, and fun.
In your opinion, what is the most important quality for a moderator? The most important quality in a moderator is being just in their approach to moderation, they shouldn't be handing out heavy sentences to random new players for breaking an obscure rule when it was an accident, and they should be handing out tough sentences when the player has been around for a while and knew they were breaking a well established rule. Though they should always be open to an appeal should it make sense.
Anything else you I am currently enlisted in the armed forces and my schedule changes without notice, I should maintain my current availability until at least March of 2020.
