Why do grenades flash as Xeno?

It doesnt really make sense for a thrown grenade to flash while playing as a xeno. Am I wrong? it kind of seems like "power gaming" in a sense that there should be a live grenade indicator for xeno's when they don't use grenades. Like even marines don't get a flashing high light of grenades i think.

In a massive clusterfuck, you need that kind of indication for both sides (yes, marines get that flashing indicator as well) to notify a nade going off so you can either get the fuck out or follow up. This is the difference between "muh realism" and actual gameplay

    answer is pretty simple:

We have to show both sides the same thing, or have a complicated code that forces onto every marine screen an indicator of a primed grenade

Also it's good for not dying as xeno from something that deals a lot of damage and already wrecks xenos pretty nicely

considering grenades that are hand thrown kill less xenos than marines, i think it's fair for grenades to have a flashing indicator.

WEll, you could apply the same logic to xenos avoiding CAS or OB lights on first contact. It wouldn't be all that fun if you were forced to just die due to realism.
