Reason for Ban Suicide as researcher via explosive chem grenade

Your appeal, including evidence (screenshots, etc) I'm looking to appeal the role ban on researcher that's been put in place for me.
I do accept that I was wrong for immediately logging off after the explosion, but I was just annoyed at myself for mucking up the creation of a chem grenade several times in a row. I wasn't aiming to suicide.
After the explosion, I rage-quit (which is bad, and which I would've gladly accepted a temporary ban for) and went to make myself lunch. Approximately 15 (I think) mins later, I attempted to log back in, only to be met with a temporary ban.
I do know to go to cryo if I have to leave, and I accept that I have not been the best at following this in the past.
I do accept that what I did was wrong, but I feel that a permanent role ban is a little bit harsh. I'm looking to either remove the role ban, or reduce it down to a temporary one (a week to a month).
