Was warn ambiguously about "18+" content when it wasn't explicitly stated it's not allowed on the discord server, it was implicitly implied that it should be posted in #shitposting. And the mod Melody was too eager to give out a perma-ban instead of a timeout over a misunderstanding.

So you admit you didn't read our discord rules, because we have a very clear rule that no NSFW stuff is allowed. It's even in the channel description for shitposting. Noah warned you not to post NSFW images, and you went and did it again. Our shitposting channel is not 18+, we don't have any channel dedicated to 18+ so you posting 18+ things absolutely breaks our rules. And we don't do timeouts, you already got warned.

I'm against lifting this ban at this time. Sit on it.

Noah did not explicitly warn me about it not being allowed on the server, and to my understanding he warned me in a manner that implied #shitposting was more lenient, also the image is barely NSFW and in my opinion is barely deserving perma-ban.
I did not post the "NSFW" image to retaliate, troll the server, or the mods. It was merely a comical relevant image to Colonial Marines that I shared to make people laugh. I believe it is incredibly unfair and unjustified to be banned over a misunderstanding over what the admin said, especially a permanent one and not a timeout after an ambiguous warning.

The shitposting channel clearly states:

Shitposting Specific Rules:
1) No NSFW content
2) Don't spam things tens-to-hundreds of times. Reposting to a reasonable level is fine but one post shouldn't be filling the logs.

I see now that those are the rules. Is it possible for my perma-ban to be lessened? I misunderstood what Noah said.

As a community, we do not allow 18+ or NSFW content anywhere, at all on a zero tolerance basis. The fact that you got a warning at all, and weren't kicked or banned immediately is lucky. Repeating the same offense again after that warning is not defensible in the slightest, especially when the channel description clearly forbids NSFW content on top of the community-wide rule for it.
