Reason for Ban Banned |Duration: 10080 minutes|Reason: Metagaming and LRP as a survivor, along with grief if that can be counted. As a survivor on big red decided to wordlessly run up to marines and start shooting them with a buckshot shotgun as they were leaving the alamo on LZ1. There was no roleplay or interaction indicating they were hostile until they started shooting. Only thing they said was. 02:24:12]SAY: Aiko 'Stutters' Amano/Akabinxstar : Time to kill some american scum' Which indicates they were waiting near the LZ just to kill marines as they left the alamo to deploy. | Sun, May 19th of 2019
Link to previous appeals for the same ban (if applicable):Your appeal, including evidence (screenshots, etc) before the ban was placed, I was previously engaged in a game of Rainbow Six: Siege. Because I play on console, I wasn't on my computer, and because I am a massive tryhard, I had my headphones on at max volume. This prevented me from hearing the ahelp sound. I could understand aceluke thinking I was ignoring him because I was also typing in the chat between deaths, but the dchat had been moving enough for the ahelps to get pushed up, so I didn't see them.
Now, the actions that had gotten me ahelped in the first place.
I was with 2 other survivors and we decided to hold out in the caves above the LV, on big red btw, but xenos had found us fairly easily and decided to give us a good amount of harassment. We held long enough for marines to arrive, but I had no ambitions to continue the round because of my previously mentioned game of siege. I originally planned to try and ambush the marines at Sec, but the xenos were still in the tunnels, So we couldn't go that way, so one of the other survivors simply welded out just above the LZ. I saw a marine and I said "Time to kill some american scum." This was NOT as the marines landed, this was like 5 or 6 minutes after, giving them more than enough time to get themselves out of the dropship, even if they weren't out, I wouldn't be that much of a dick to just attack them as they leave. I followed the marine who heard me say the hostile remark, but he went off screen, making me lose sight of him. I went south to pursue him, but was met with a whole crowd of marines. I proceeded to open fire on one of them, thinking it was the same marine due to how close he was to the bottom of my screen. After shooting him, I continued to shoot a few more marines before being gunned down, and after I died I just started playing siege again. I did not meta game knowing that there were marines before seeing them, because my remark was made AFTER seeing them, and I don't really understand the LRP element, since I've done this numerous times with admin permission. I do however apologize for my lack of response to the ahelp.
