BACKGROUND
Sarah Price was the youngest child of three, born to a low
income family on Leo Colony, Mars. Her father worked for
Armat Battlefield Systems until his death in 2165, attributed
to a workplace accident involving the unintentional detonation
of an explosive device. This left Sarah fatherless, and reliant
on her mother who suffered from ill health since her birth.
Sarah's academic performance was regularly below average,
leading her to leave education at 18 to work for Armat as her
father did before her. Shortly after employment, her mother
passed and the majority of her close family moved off world. For a
time following this period, Sarah developed increased levels of
paranoia and distrust, leading to termination from the company.
Questioning by USCM psychologists revealed she was convinced her
employer played an intentional part in her father's death. It
should be noted that no evidence of this has been recorded by either
investigators and herself. After a peiod of moderate psychological
care, her mental health returned to a normal state with no aparrent
long-term effects.
Sarah enlisted to the USCM in May 2184 and was shortly assigned
to the USS Almayer. Displaying above average abilities in both
squad leadership and heavy weapons, she was promoted to her current
position as specialist roughly a year following her enlistment.
