In CM acid of a beno blood is pretty weak, so tank parts made out of cardboard with tinfoil placed on top can hold on pretty good. However tears of a beno are so powerfull, they can melt floor planetside so this vents whole planet and marines lose, so benos are happy then. Kind of a failsafe from devs so that benos won't leave the game unhappy. After all, we are all here for beno's fun, not the other way around.

Sorry I'm a little distracted with this marine. I slashed him like 10 times but he hasn't even slowed because marines apparently don't feel pain or even have human anatomy.
