So really, I don't quite get why it is never shown who is the victor at the end of the round. So why not implement it? Can't see any disadvantages in that feature, CM will definetely only gain from this feature.
Also, maybe change victory conditions a bit:
queen killed/nuke exploded = marines major
shuttle crashed, aliens still killed = marines minor
shuttle crashed, almayer evacuated = aliens minor
shuttle crashed, everyone slaughtered = aliens major
almayer self-destruct = draw
Almayer SD is a Marine Minor and if you disagree you're a xenomain

The victory shit was removed because marines started obsessing about it.
They'd become extremely toxic about anything non-meta and it became literally ground-hog day for every operation because > UNGA NEED WIN

Last time I heard they are going to being adding it back. Fun fact any time xenos crash on the almayer its a xeno minor unless they wipe the marines out then its a xeno major. Thats why xenos "win" 70% of the matches when marines are smashing them left and right on the almayer.
