    It's extremely simple to change preds. Make us glass cannons. Give predators about the same speed as an elder or ancient runner because at least in the movies and games they could jump from tree to tree. Make us a lot less tanky as you've seen from the movies and games predators aren't as tanky as we have them in-game. Increase our damage a good amount because we're getting rid of our tankiness for speed, so we need to make up for it with a lot of damage. Change the HPC to an aoe stun only, and not a big gibbing mechanic.

    Do something with elders. For our damage, we should be killing most xenos at about 3-8 hits depending on which xeno and their age. These would be the things you'd want to do if you're actually serious about changing preds.

I can't promise any specific changes at the current time but suffice it to say that preds are one of the foremost problems in the dev team's agenda (or at very least mine) right now.

    Nerf predators hard so they're easier to kill/catch, and just make them a random roundstart role like survivors or whatever. Also remove the requirement for the ridiculous wall of RP text that no one will ever read other than the guy looking over the application.

    You think predators aren't easy to kill? It's easier to kill pred who is hunting you honorably, than it is to kill mature Lurker. Strip off their crowd-controll gear and they will have to be afraid, instead of bald marines and bald benos. This text is also some kind of a "test" if you have basic of RP'ing. Less griefers to be sure.

    Sorry to break it to you, but Preds are beyond easy to kill when they're forced to fight honorably.

    They already have good speed.
    Give them some abilities like leap instead but with a high cooldown so they can make a difference if you time it well.

    Also they need their own gamemode tbh, right now they just buzz around you like an annoying fly to provoke you into some 1v1 that personally I never care for.

    The fact a elder queen, in a 1v1, can't take down a pred due to it's speed, would only lead to pred vs xeno battles being even more one sided. Not in favour for more speed on preds.

    Why are you trying to 1v1 a pred as an Elder Queen though. Your screech only stuns for 0.5 second, your acid spit can miss, your neuro spit is an RNG mess (yes queen neuro is a 2 sec stun that has RNG) that doesn't affect pred.

    Also yeah I'm not really down with giving pred more speed as they are currently only outmatched by runner with frenzy in terms of speed.

    imagine giving pred more speed so xenos cant do the only reasonable thing and run off and avoid the pred that's there to ruin their game and add nothing. Ya that will make preds so much better.

    How about you announce BEFORE the round that its a pred round so I can go defender and smash those fuckers? Or just avoid playing xeno all together and go marine? Its not like it makes the game any better finding out theres a pred running around 3 minutes after the round starts.

    I think Preds should be like traitors from other servers in which they get target xenos and target marines to fight.

    HOWEVER

    Give these targets certain hidden boosts. The xeno has stronger slashes, is more durable, and anything that would make them more of a challenge. The marine has better endurance/CQC/Gun accuracy/ anything that would also make them a challenge.
    The catch is that they don't know, it isn't announced to them, they might notice SOME symptoms, but it's a double edged blade. On one hand they're better than their peers, on the other, they're getting targeted for the hunt.
    Preds have to stalk these creatures and try to hunt them with the least casualties possible, such as kidnapping a marine and challenging them solo, or chasing after a xeno of great interest.

    Maybe you don't want to be chosen, so maybe this could be toggled on/off if you want to keep it vanilla.
