I was notified in game that my job ban was applied with no word from me and any notification that a report was on going.

2. Investigate the situation.

Same as above, didn't get contacted, and verdict states that..

"I've had one of my Senior Moderators come forward with more evidence of a previous round where the accused had taken all the tank parts picking horrible combinations, then running to cyro. Also the RP from these logs I've seen is not conduct becoming someone of a important rank of Tank Crew. If you want to be a memer and do dumb stuff, be a PFC, not a Sergeant First Class. More over ordering a gunner to fire grenades at marines when they fully known there will be friendly fire is not acceptable"

Although is untrue, since logs do not state position of mob types and does not show if mob types were run over, while using a previous round as reference for a separate round entirely, which was a separate occasion itself. (previous round was I had no gunner the whole round. the ship got invaded, and I was the last remaining survivor of said round driving in the tank with the following attachments; overdrive, treads, and M56 Cupola.)

The CO during the OP told me to cease my hostilities towards my gunner, which I followed to do so (check logs). At the time, I will not deny what I say due to the severity of the other positions responsibility during the role in question. If one were to slack off or do something wrong, yes I will speak in what appears to be a undermining tone.

If my TC wishes to drive, I let him drive but if he's driving directly into a wall without saying too shoot it or nothing at all.. you gotta stop to question the TCs motives and actions, for they are your driver/gunner. The same applied with the TCs actions on the usage of their weapons during combat. Especially when we have 7 hostiles pinned down and we're the only marines in the given battlefield.

Although no one stated, not even my gunner stated we were alone, I was aware, and was making preparations to adequately get to a safer position. Lastly.. I never even cryoed the whole round, the one time I cryoed was a while back. I just couldn't handle the TC and contiune the round, so I returned the tank in perfect condition back to the ship and promptly left to cryo and cryoed myself instead of flat out disconnecting in an active combat zone, which my other TC (the one that my verdict came from) promptly did (hunk1 can acknowledge this)

3. Determine the seriousness of the issue.

I find that no warning exists for a job ban.. given prior note history.

4. Investigate the player's history

Had no prior incident in my notes affiliated with the tank role and I am more aware of our rules and regulations then most staff members are, even under heavy scrutiny by the staff members that come and go throughout CMs history.

5. Determine the punishment.
a. Determine the bare minimum punishment. There's no reason to jump straight to a ban, especially if the incident didn't cause a major disruption to the game. Try to use warnings, and if you do need to ban don't be excessive. Most bans should not be above 12 hours.

This is my second staff report I have to make out of the two plus years of playing. Surprising its somewhat the same reasoning, inadequate time to properly investigate all sides of the story, and their moral sense of justice seems one sided. A unit of reference is created and refined by your interactions, thoughts, ideals, opinions, beliefs of said individual (in a sense, for any new staff members; a background check through notes).. don't forget that you can misuse said unit of reference and can ultimately create unfair situation to arise within the staff and its community. If my accusations are incorrect and my usage of the rules governed by all staff members are incorrect, the I refere to you all that are aware of CMs history, especially in the past staff history category. Don't forget that you are human..

So I've just taken over reviewing reports a couple days. I spoke with Grimcad about this, granted I was trying to get reports resolved, because I've been stuck in a hurricane detail for the past 4 days.
So yeah I've been told people do need a chance to respond, so I will do the following:

I am going to reopen your report and have grimcad handle it. However I will be posting some further evidence in it.

We do not have an actual procedure on how long report a player are to remain open, how long they're closed... etc...
So I will be talking with the other head cheeses to take care of that.

ThesoldierLLJK has been working quickly to resolve the backlog of reports that I frankly, left on his plate. But perhaps he has been going about it a little too quickly. As he mentioned I have spoken to him about leaving reports up for longer, so that those reported have a chance to respond.

I will be handling your original report as well, in the interest of remaining impartial.
