    Minimike1220 - 2, 3, 4

    Player Report
    Your Byond ID?
    Yuliy

    Date of Incident
    September 7, 2019

    Your Character Name?
    Alysha 'Nutjob' Cooper

    Accused Byond Key(if known):
    Minimike1220

    Accused Character Name
    Carl Johansson

Approximate time and date of the incident (Central US Time for fastest results)
    6:00 PM

    What rule(s) were broken:
    2, 3, 4

    Description of the incident:
As an Alpha specialist, the CO has annouced that the briefing has started at the due time of 12:10, deployment at 12:16, without telling the reason why Marines are rushing for the deployment.

As far as I remember, this 12:15 deployment is very, very frowned upon if there is no right reasons for the call.
[Evidence will be Grimcard's words on the previous report of Quill-Weave, //showthrea...-Rule-4/page3]

About the rule 2. As after death, I saw few peoples getting completely confused why they were on code red at the time of around 12:40, and so was I. I've asked to the moderator if the CO has announced about the situation, and response was -

[03:34:34]ANNOUNCEMENT: Carl Johansson has announced the following: There's still a hostile on the ship.

    And nothing more.
I would say, it is quite an off-limit from the standard RP. Least stating who, how and why, or at least one of it from any three, is required. Few more parts of their statements while talking on communications are below average of the RP.
This might be just me, but I do think the CO should be acting more 'reasonable' and be more 'specific' in their words. Hence why we make up the stories while applying for the CO.

    Evidence (screenshots, logs, etc):
    Logs pull required.

How you would punish the accused:
    N/A.

So Im confused are you alleging server rule violations or whitelist CO guideline violations?
Ill give minimike a chance to respond and depending on your answer determine if this is to be handled by me or Bancrose.

However I will say outright that deploying at 12:15 is not a server rule violation. Yeah it is frowned upon but if a CO can do a proper briefing and launch at 12:15 its not a rule break.

I've done 12:10 briefings for quite a while, and I haven't seen any issues come forth.

I find it to be better, sure a few people might miss deployment, but marines get defenses up quicker, and it allows us to get settled faster.

If the staff doesn't want us deploying at 12:15, they can push the dropship timer back to 12:25, or whenever they feel it's adequate to deploy.

As for the code red, we got a bio-scan and it said there was a hostile on the ship, so I thought that'd be rather evident - which is what I told Sayuki. (Unsure if I spelled that right, but it's the moderator that investigated.) That's all the information I had. A hostile breaking lights, so I told people to hunt it down. I thought everyone basically knew, since it was a bio-scan which told us.

Okay, I can tell you from the Whitelist Side.

This isn't a whitelist guideline violation due to the fact that an XO can also determine if Marines drop at 12:15 and therefore would make this a Server Rule Break.

Command are allowed to deploy at 12:15, Just not rush Lamda/Eta or those locations(Not sure tho)

Soldier will be handling this now.

Alright I've reviewed his logs, and I do not see any violation of server rules
Dropping at 12:15 is not a violation of rules, even though Grimcad said "It's frowned upon" just because it's frowned upon, doesn't make it against the rules. As long as the CO does a proper briefing, or has an IC reason to send a squad first thing (Scouting, Distress fax, etc...) they can order a drop at 12:15.

Rule 2 Roleplay: According to his logs, he roleplayed his CO role from what I can see. I do not see any violation of this rule

Rule 3 Don't be a dick: I don't see any racism, bigotry, etc... in Mimimikes chat.

Rule 4 No Griefing: I don't see any griefing in these logs.

If you're going to make a report because you don't agree with a CO's strategy, I recommend instead of just firing off rule numbers, you should ask yourself "Was this really a rule break?" and if you ever ask that question you should send an adminhelp in-game.

That being said, a CO can also order a red alert if an ARES scan says there's a hostile on board, that's the point of a red alert.
