Description of the incident

Mizari spawned a 'trader' shop just inside the LZ of big red. To supposedly balance what little it had given an advantage of to the Marines, they gave Nanu control of a spawned in Primordial Lurker.

Said Lurker then went on to kill both Marines and Xenos, disrupting the flow of the round. With it being such lowpop, Marines didn't have a chance, and Xenos, despite having an amazing strategy and remaining hidden, were revealed by this Primordial Lurker.

My screen had scrolled too far to capture proper logs, but I got an admin conversation regarding it, and a statement from Mizari.

There's quite a few people that can attest as to the outcome and quality of the event, as shown by "Last Round Chat", the dead chat of the round, and some others who I'm sure would post on this if possible.

How you would punish the accused

I'm not familiar with punishments handed out for staff abuse, but it had disrupted the flow of the round entirely, and had been handled terribly.

Hello I played as ancient hivelord during this round. From my perspective Primordial Lurker was spawned to aid xenos, but due to Queen's strategy(stay hidden inside hive and avoid humans at all cost) lurker was transformed from ''The Hunter'' to Zeta primordial lurker so he can avoid Queen's orders and no slashing commandment. Thanks to overwatch ablility I saw him killing atleast eight marines and one xeno(ancient warrior) after capturing LZ1. I'm not quite sure why Primordial Lurker was spawned, marines did not found xeno hive yet and I doubt there was even a first contact.

That's correct. We hadn't encountered any lads up until the Primordial, at which point it basically murdered everyone it came across. The biggest side effect of that was the revealing of the Xenos and cutting their strategy into ribbons. Both literally and otherwise.

That store didn't even sway it in the favor of the Marines, as shown by the absolute steamroll the Xenos pulled. There'd have been a number of other ways it could've been handled. Increased Larva, perhaps a spawning pool, etc. It's low pop, so there's no way in hell we had a chance, and it should've been fairly blatant.

Just wanted to put in Mizari has retired from Staff so this can probably be closed.

Primordials were removed by our development team recently as they are way overpowered for events.
SirLordington did speak with Mizari about this, but he decided to retire on his own volition (Not a forced retirement) and as Primordial xenos are now removed, no staff will be running events with them in the future.

I spoke to Mizari about this and some recent minor issues with him and he decided to retire as he felt he wasn't upholding the standards required for the position. The door is open for his return, though he will have to do so from the Trial Moderator position. Given his retirement I see no need to take any further action.
