There is merit in constantly communicating your actions and what you see however. Command can get a near live stream idea of whats going on on the ground outside of OW. I like to call out which side I'm on if defending FOB, call out kills I see even if I wasn't part of them, and try to give callouts on contacts and whether we can hold or not. Command can't always see all the convo's, wounded, cade quality, and frontline logistical problems that are hard to measure over OW so having a few voices that give on the ground commentary I feel helps bring another set of ears.
But that's obviously hard to do if you're also in the middle of robusting or fighting benos. Regardless it also gives your voice a presence so if you're in danger or need help people will know to come help. But yea, its also going to give your name more recognition when people ask who to give medals to.
