Here's some of the ways you can be FFed in my experience:
- Get shot with AP and die of a punctured lung
- Take a slug to the face and have a cracked skull
- Get pushed/dragged into fire/spicy water by your neighborhood marine or xeno (same side, not opposite)
- Get shot by CAS because some idiot threw a bad signal flare for a napalm strike
- Get gibbed by CIC calling in an OB
- HEFA anywhere, anytime
- Engineers setting up sentries behind Marines
- Being Req staff
- Being in a circle of Marines around a runner/lurker
This is not exhaustive, of course.

Well, it is way worse in that round I did. But, it's okay. I just hope it ain't all that too common. Trust me that I ain't joking when I say it was ridiculous.

Just wait until you squad leader calls in air support and your health instantly goes to crit as your game freezes while BYOND loads explosion3.wav

Just keep playing, soon you will be desensitized to all the bullshit and know how to avoid it although not always but most of the time.

Yeah, I know some part is due to the gameplay for sure. But, sometime people just want to push to pass instead of asking. Problem is they don't bother making sure they don't put you or themselves in danger. I mean, I was like that on my first round. But, after having my head blown off I changed my ways and I try to be careful.
