When you pull the gun out, unless you have angled grim, you may miss your shot (EVEN PB) for first half-second/second... So I don't know why that felt instant for you

why was this added again? All you had to do as a pouncing caste was use your keyboard, I never had problems with insta-PBs and I played Lurker alot.

Sometimes I wish we could revert back to PB meta so xeno players have to go through trials and errors just to avoid getting PB'd

You shouldnt even be pouncing shotgun people in the first place unless you're a lurker.

Runners can still pounce shotgun people, slash them once, run before the guy can get up, repeat. Literally a robust marine's worst nightmare.

If you know so little about SS13 that you confuse playing in hotkey mode with using macros, you probably aren't in a position to accurately assess balance.
