How do you get up fast, after a xeno drops or leaps up on you? Do you have a key to help with that?

Rest macro, it's in the wiki and useful for a few things including dodging hefa shrapnel.

If you are in crit though, it will not work of course. Check out the wiki for macros they are very useful

This really doesn't work. How fast you will stand up from beno stun depends on when you were stunned (at the start, or the end of a "tick") and amount of pain. "Rest" macro will only allow you to lay down after stun wears off, so you won't catch all of the bullets that will most likely fly above you just to slighty damage stunning beno.
There is a substance (hyperzine I guess) that makes you stand up faster, but I don't belive many marines are using it.

Is there a concencus on what ammo to use in shotguns? I've been told today that fletchette ammo is for very short ranges and then told that it was for long range by different people. Both buck and fletchette seem inconsistent with slugs being consistently mediocre.

Use a hand labeler to name your guns.

get a hand labeler > Z > Name it > Use it on your gun at your other hand

and yeah, buckshot is the best on my opinion

I've been using fletch for the last few rounds, but will try out buckshot. Thanks for the replies.

buckshot = less hassle. but you gotta use some macro

make a "Z" macro on your byond client and write unique-action.

it is equip unequip type so you gotta have a fast hands on it
