    You really shouldnt say admins have a "shit concept'' of RP just because you have your own personal definition of HRP in your "book", though. Just saying.

    MT is a dead role as a result of the culling of engineering.

    I almost wish they would revert the "generators" back to the heat engines/fusion of yesteryear.

    Though my suggestion is to add field equipment for them to maintain. Anti gas barriers, radar towers, electric fences, etc. They spend the round recharging, repairing, deploying equipment etc.

    Give NCOs miscreant objectives similar to Goonstation. That'll give both the MTs and the MPs something to do.

    Can't have that because everything has to be the same exact thing every round otherwise it might require an admin to take his attention off the 360 no scoping going on the planet and that's bad because the game is, as much as we might dislike that, about the PvP and racking up those kills for 80% of the playerbase.

    You simply cannot have the levels of roleplay from regular ss13 because this isn't a game about doing your job in a station, this is about a deathmatch where the admemes job is to check that PFC Dig "Hard" Bick isn't griefing his team mates on purpose or doing a non-sanctioned killing of an MP. Roleplay devices that actually matter or situations that fall outside the expected scope of player interaction just throws a wrench into the cogs.

    It's almost as if the obsession with streamlining the game to the point it's team fortress 2 xeno edition is in detriment of anyone who's interested in actually roleplaying with the setting.
