    Best Spec Ammo to Use?

What is the overall best ammo for each spec? For specs that have more than one viable ammo type, what is the best way to use each type?

I know that for the grenadier it is normally HEDP all the way (or M15s if you are feeling particularly vicious), but its not as clear to me what I should be using for the other specs like sniper and scout. I'd love to hear your experiences!

In my experience, for the SADAR spec it's like this:

HE rockets for general use/large groups, as well as gibbing annoying T1/T2s covering a critical area.

AP rockets for stuns on Queens and T3s, and for if you want to PB something with your SADAR for some reason and not also get gibbed/husked.

WP rockets for area denial (since no one's going to run through them) and for cutting off retreats.

I'm not the most well versed though so someone more competent may want to comment on this.

    Scout
Impacts for T1 and t2's. Use Semi auto draw out the stun duration as long as possible while a friendly dunks on them with another weapon.
Incin is okay and Standard is okay. They both do the job well tho the incin is weaker on hits and mostly useful to spooking Boilers or tagging a xeno for termination.

    Pyro.
Blue fire is bae. Standard is decent.
Green is mediocre but useful for clearing weeds, sticky, eggs, traps, Anything not a xeno.
Avoid Ravs and Queens like they are the plague.

    Sniper.
Flak is good due to hitting multiple targets at once but avoid using them as marines are pushing or you will be a great hindrance.
Incin. is pretty much like the scout. use for spooks or tagging.
    Standard is standard.

    Grenadier.
    HEDP grenades. Nothing else matters.

    RPG
    HE for crowds
    AT for single important targets.
WP for hurting every marine in the vicinity as well as yourself.

    ANTI-Material Sniper
Only one type so focus on Wounded T3's to deal the killing blow/putting them into critical.

Played all of the roles with my favorites in respective order. These are the things that I learned with amount of time I spent trying to play every spec role.

HE RPG all the way. AT is nice until your rocket """misses""" a xeno and flies through it.

Incendiary ammo is great for sniper and scout since it can harass boilers and fleeing injured xenos. Flak is okay too but kinda weak and easy to avoid by spreading out, at which point it's just worse normal ammo.

Grenadier should take all HEDP. If you take all HEFA you are a griefer (this should be a legit ruling by headmins).

Avoid AP as Demolition specialist, you need to be 100% accurate for it to be effective. High Explosive on the other hand stuns low to no armor xenos making it useful for breaking xenos pushes are stunning fleeing xenos.

Pyrospec and white phosphorous rockets all fall under the same problem if causing atrocious friendly fire and blocking marine pushes. Not to mention Ravagers just laughing their ass of at your stupidity.

Flak is the only viable choice thanks to it's damage, inci does jack shit and caseless are a throw-away item

Blue flames aren't doing as much damage as they used to for some reason, green flames don't exist and normal flames are pretty meh

HE rockets are not good but they're better than AP, WP is mediocre

A19 damage was nerfed, Impacts are the best choice thanks to their stun. Inci is meh, Caseless are even more meh.

Pyro: Blue flames but a useless for rav and queen

    RPG: HE and WP

    Sniper: Flak(harm) and Inci

    Grenadier: HEDP as always!

Scout: Impacts cause it stun the enemies.

i hit queen with a dead on AP rocket and the fucking bitch deflected it

I try not to play sadar anymore, and playing pyro/GL spec isn't fun when the most common t3s hard counter you, I'm too small brained to play scout, so i just give covering fire as a sniper and pretend i matter more than bumblefuck mc iff carbine over there with his bonus chromosomes he bought from the PFC vendor
