Appologies, but I don't understand what you are asking me to answer, perhaps you could be more detailed?

    2. Time is 13:00 and marines are evacuating planetside and they're inside the Alamo but a Pilot officer is refusing to launch the dropship. What are you going to do?

Assuming that I have already given the order to depart, simply use the DS console in CIC and send it back up myself. Whereupon their arrival, I would have the PO brought in for questioning to deduce the reason why he did not launch it himself. It could be something simple such as wanting his friend who could not get on in time an opportunity to board. If it is a small detail such as that, and given I am able to rectify the issue easily, he would simply be written up on report. If his actiones were taken maliciously, he would be brigged.

    3. A chief military police is abusing a prisoner inside the brigged, what are you going to do with him?

If there is concrete evidence of this, as you have stated plainly, I would have the other MP's arrest him for abuse of power and brigged.

    4. 10 marines are killed in Orbital bombardment and the suspect is your Executive officer and none MPS are active. What are you going to do?

Everyone makes mistakes, I have seen numerious SO's and the odd SL who gave wrong coords do the same thing. If it was a genuine mistake, I would remind the XO, and by extension the rest of CIC, to double check their OB coords and confirm with those landside before ordering OB's. If it was intentional and he acted maliciously, which is doubtful, I would consider whether or not I can have the SO's arrest him to be shot by firing squad. But I believe the scenario would more likely end with my BEing him in CIC.
    1. In question one, the xenos are pushing inside the Forward Operating base. What are you going to do? To keep holding or evac?

Circumastances on the ground shall determine the best course to persue. Everything from our numbers to their numbers, if there's a tank needing repairs or is still in fighting shape, how well prepared the FOB has been fortified, number of injured and those still combat fit. Also to be considered is whether or not killing the Queen is viable to shatter their morale. Before ordering any evac or holding action, I would consult the SL's on the ground and the statistics on the squad terminals. After considering all these options, the right option will be self evident. I am not one for running from a fight if we are still capable, yet I am also not one for vain glorious, sending everyone to die for the sake of keeping up appearances.

Furthermore, whether or not the OB and CAS is ready to be used.

Your application certainly seems well enough. I don't have any specific memories that come to mind regarding this character name, but the name itself resonates a positive general feel from the experiences I've had. To both have no negative memories and a good vibe makes you a flower in a desert on this server. Then again I could be completely jaded and not remembering right, so let's do what has yet to happen for your app and drop a hypothetical or two.

A.) Dialing back from that worst case scenario wake-up, let's talk mass murder. About 90 minutes into the operation, the ship rocks with the firing of an OB with an incendiary payload. You barely hear one Squad Leader say that the shot killed several aliens, including a 'gas spitter' and 'rhino', before hearing a Specialist screaming that most of his squad, including his SL, got husked in the flames. Looking into the matter shows that the Squad Leader that reported the confirmed kills gave the coordinates, but it's unclear if they'd confirmed for the shot to be fired. Who, if anyone, do you reprimand in this situation, and how do you handle it otherwise?

B.) You awaken to a decently populated round about 30 minutes in. You have a full CIC staff, fully set Requisitions, but no Military Police force whatsoever. The first thing you hear as you exit Cryogenics is that there was a fight in the Requisition line between the Pyro and Scout. The Scout is dead and husked, with the Pyro in surgery for IB and several fractures. Both of their squads insist that the other started it. In the chaos of trying to figure this out, the XO has barely even put together a deployment plan, much less had Briefing. What does Commander Alois 'Galewolf' Bielefeld do for this?

Circumstances allude to an overly zealous SO or XO in CIC, who are has fired an OB without first giving clear indication that an OB is to be fired, nor have they requested confirmation that the designated area is clear of freindlies. Clearly this is more serious than the theoretical sittuation where in the question above, as it stipulates the matter as having been through lack of coordination, as opposed to inexperience. If it was the XO, I would demote them for the duration of the mission, as it has highlighted their lack of mental awareness when it comes to leading a mission, and relegate them to SO duties. I would also lecture the whole CIC staff on the necessity of effectively communicating with SL's on the ground when authorising OB's. If it was an SO, I would see to it they are fully informed about how to use OB's as stated before, and bar them from using it for the duration of the mission, and be written down on report. Before dealing with all this, I would inform those on the ground that I shall be looking into the matter, and ask that the CIC staff confer as to whether or not to push the attack after the OB, or hold, as they would have the appropriate information to determine the adequete response . After I have dealt with the sittuation in a timely manner, I would announce the course of action taken by myself, appologies to the marines on the ground who suffered as a result, and to not let the sacrifices made thus far be in vain, etcetera.

Over the announcer; I would ask the XO to continue with their battle planning, with the XO deciding the overal order of the mission and consulting the SO's for squad orders to try and speed up progress. I would inform the SL's and SG's of each squad to meet me inside the cantineen, where I would inform them plainly that there can be no definitive clear cut answer as to who started it, that both sides suffered, that they as SL's should get a better grip of their men and ensure there is not further acrimony between their squads, and put the matter behind them until a full report can be written up after the mission to reveal what really happened. What remains is to have the SL's and SG's inform their respective squads of this and to alley their bloodlust for revenge. By this time the briefing should be ready and we continue as per usual.

Surprised by the amount of responses saying they haven't seen you in game.

I've had the honor of having you play XO alongside my CPT. I can easily say that you definitely know how to lead an operation, and are attentive enough the entire time to make it feel like command is active. I can definitely feel a unique character whilst playing alongside you. You're a commander that cares about the well being of the marines, and focuses heavily on winning the operation. There were also quite a few times in our games that some crazy shenanigans have occurred and I had to pass control of CiC to you, which you easily took. It's safe to say that some of the games we had together were won solely because of the way you led the marines from CiC.

One of the problems I did have while we played together was a couple of times that I felt like you were undermining my orders, or taking initiative on choices without properly consulting me first. Although; these were not significant enough to outweigh your positives just some light criticism. A lot of these initiatives you took ended up benefiting rounds significantly even if they were a little off from what I had in mind.

Overall it's a +1 from me! I think you'll be a great captain, and I hope you get your whitelist.

Allright, I just has you as my XO.

Despite your answers to the worded questions, many marines were displeased at your performance while actually commanding, as your tactics were lacking and your communication was VERY poor; I had to take over and eventually save the operation after a major wipe after I let you take the operation to gauge your skill.

HOWEVER. I have seen you improve morale very well with quotes from starship troopers and through other methods.

You got slightly better eventually, near the end of the round.

You do sometimes tend to focus a little too much on non-operation related things, and I'm not saying that's bad, but opening the door to the containment room containing a live Xeno is not a good idea.

I do believe that you require much more experience to become a fully independent leader, as you relied quite heavily on the assistance and suggestions from others to command.
However, I also believe that you will have gained that experience when you finally get CO, so I shall +1 this.

    Good work, Bielefeld.

Thanks for that. However I'm compelled to state that we had no SO's for most of the op, I was getting conflicting evidence from squad SL's, some saying we had them surrrounded, some saying we needed to retreat, with the SL's themselves saying that the they considered the other squads piss poor in working together. And all of this on a new map for a lot of people, which I have never commanded on. I work best with SO's and delegation, I do not enjoy overseeing all squads at the same time and I doubt many people do. I merely think you're a little hard on me for failing to oversee an operation nearly entirely by myself from when you were observing me.

As for focusing too much on the xeno in containment, I knew I would get that criticism, which is just I would say. However I'll take that hit as getting a xeno to cooperate is something I've tried to do for a very long time and this was an opportune moment for me.

Additionally, and to my fault, I never considered you as an acting XO to be used. More a CO who was just watching me.

I see you as XO alot at night, and and you are very 3/10. You just seem sort of dull and not very engaged. You don't inspire my loyalty, I know most people say to grind XO to get noticed, but i personally would like to see you on the ground more, to judge how you handle the oh shit moments in life, because as XO, you can sort of side stop those, but as CO, many things develop and happen very fast, and as it stands i feel you would freeze up or divert to incompetence to handle it from what ive seen. Moe engagement or seeing you on the ground would help me judge this, but i prefer a leader that acts quickly and with competence based on experience.

To be frank, the likelyhood of my being able to be landside is rather low. Either there is no CO, and I would not deploy for obvious reasons, or the CO does turn up and as is often the case they want to deploy and they leave me in charge of CIC. The only two times I've deployed as an XO have been when a nuke was called and I travelled down with it to arm and defend it. It's rather more of a self centered approach to deploy when you are needed in CIC, and no doubt I would be criticised by some for going landside.
