Why do you do so? Isn't it better to just not spawn in?

Sometimes you roll for spec, sg, SL, etc and you get medic. Now unlike the spec which can ugna with his special gear or the SG that can pew pew everything and get face hugged trapped first or the SL that can push like a retard the medic has to stand back while everyone else has fun. Sometimes you want to roll the medic because you hate bald bastards but you dont feel like it this time so you cyro.
That or you just realized other obligations. Hey cyroing frees the slot up anyway so no real lost
I cryo whenever I roll Spec just to flex on those of you who rage every round you didn't get spec.
There is an option to return to lobby if you don't get the job you want. So instead of cryoing, just do that. Unless you spawn in and then you need to go right away which can happen sometimes.
Rarely do it, but it’s always been because there is an “Antag” CO that is in command. I refuse to intentionally allow myself to be abused by griefers that are protected by whitelist privilege because their OOC friends are on the council.
Luca Jagemann, the cynical colonial with the prescription glasses.
Ancient Synth Williams, on another rescue mission in Brazil.
I even do this when I late join a round. I’ll stick around for 2-3 minutes and if the game is lagging for me, I head back into cryo and let someone else take my role.
