- Personally, I wouldn't PM on the first offense. If it was clearly an accident I've said in LOOC to just forgive the player, and if the damage is bad enough or they haven't been treated an aheal could be appropriate if it was like buckshot.
- That's fine. You can also look into the situation a little yourself, but you can't directly punish unless they're griefing.
- A good Samaritan
- Depending on the situation, you can get an admin to talk to them, or if they're just being blatantly dickish then a note and ban is appropriate.
- That's fine.
- This is an IC issue unless they're griefing. You can SM an MP if you see fit.
- That's fine.
- That's fine.
- A queen mother report can be done if no admins are online, but let admins do their shindig unless none are present. Inform the other mods of your actions.
- You are playing the medic, so you should get another moderator to handle the situation since you're personally involved. You can send an ahelp in and give your side of the shindig, you need to fix what that boy is doing to your patients.
If you just misread the question then your response is fine for enforcement.
- Yup!
- Indeed
- Yes, but people who retaliate aren't entitled to aheals though.
- Yeah, LOOC would probably be best so the Command Staff doesn't get a heads up.
- That's fine.
- You shouldn't perma on a first offense. If they're blatantly griefing and log immediately when PM'd, a 3 day or week ban can be fine.
- You still need to investigate the situation. Unless they already have notes of similar stuff, then a warning and a note is fine.
- yup
- Survivors have faxed the marines before somehow, so make sure to check the car fax on that.
- This is an IC issue. They shouldn't just ass-blast them, but you can kill marines for the last slot on an evac pod. If they just shot them because they wanted on that pod, then that's improper escalation.
- Yeah, you could also warn him about disrespect to staff is a banable offense and to take a moment to calm down and cool it with the LOOC/dchat whatever.
- Letting them know through a pm or msay isn't an awful idea. If it starts getting into an argument then post it into our rules slack channel for clarification on the proper enforcement.
- The handling moderator gets the final say unless a superior says otherwise. You can PM grimcad or post it in rules if you think something was done improperly.
Somewhat nitpicky, but there's no harm in elaborating on what I believe as proper.
