Synthetic Whitelist Application
Byond ID? Ladwhy
Marine Name Fay 'Rescuer' Sandys
Other Whitelist Applications N/A
Name of the Synth Character you wish to play Ray
Are you familiar with the Synthetic Programming and Guidelines? Yes.
What are some scenarios that you can perform combat in? Give us a brief example. As a synthetic, I can only perform combat as a last resort and in the interest of self-preservation. I also cannot use weaponry like rifles or pistols. For example, if I am dragging a critically wounded marine to the FOB and a xeno pounces towards us, kills the marine and then starts to attack me, I will use my melee weapon to try and scare him off. But before that, I will call for help on comms and if other marines come to assist, I will let them do their thing and drag the wounded one back to safety.
Synthetic Character Story
What is your Synths quirk and personality? Ray's quirk is being an extrovert. He likes talking to humans and will do anything to protect them. He's like that guy in the group that is mostly ignored, chill with everyone and loyal to his friends.
How familiar are you with Engineering? I have ~16 hours registered as a Squad Engineer and also 2 hours as MT+CE. I know it isn't that much, but I am quite familiar with CM engineering. I can:
-Repair broken and destroyed APCs
-Repair generators and set up SMES units
-Build barricades and make a decent FOB
-Hack airlocks, vendors and APCs
-Set up Telecommunications
-Load OBs and help POs with loading CAS and other things.
How familiar are you with Command? I have played many rounds as SO and XO, most of them being won. Combined, I have ~20 hours registered hours.
I know how to work with the Overwatch console, launch supply crates, send transmissions to the squad etc.
How familiar are you with Medical? I started playing CM as a Squad Medic. I have ~110 registered hours and can do anything medical related. That includes:
-Surgery, usage of autodocs
-Proper first aid, squad medic things
-Usage of triage cards
-Fixing Internal Bleeding with Bicardine overdose

How familiar are you with Requisitions? I started playing as CT/RO about a month ago and I have learnt how it works pretty quickly. I know what the marines need at the FOB or at T-Fort(secondary FOBs, for example Hydro). I know how to:
-Operate the requisitions line
-Work with the ARES unit
-Making supply bags(bags with flares, ammo, MREs)
-Send crates to the FOB or to the front lines
Why do you want to be a synthetic/why should we whitelist you? I want to be a synthetic mainly because I enjoy helping people and like playing support roles. I see so many new medics ODing people and I can't do anything because I'm an engineer. Or in other cases, I'm a medic and I see an engineer not knowing how to rotate a barricade. I want to help the marines achieve victory and I can only do one job at once. I also am in EET timezone, when I wake up there's barely 80 people online and there's lack of either command, medical, engineering or requisitions. I think if I am there to assist will really benefit the marines.
