This Council has been deliberating this issue for some time now and we have come to a consensus regarding the accused player’s missconducts and punishment.


Firstly, the Mateba shouldn’t have been given out to the Prisioner in the first place, since it a token belonging only to the Commanding Officer, and it is the only weapon that can permanently remove someone from the round upon it’s execution method. Despite your intentions towards said player, your Mateba CANNOT be handed out to anyone except in EXTREME situations, but please take into account that the mateba is not replaceable and you will be held responsible if your side arm falls into wrong hands.


Secondly, we spotted some procedure failures regarding the BE / execution. Firstly you attempted to BE a prisioner that was in the MP’s custody, which is a big No-no. Any man that is under MP’s custody cannot be Battlefield Executed. Upon being warned by a MP, you decided to opt by a regular execution. Now in this situation, we found that the procedure for the normal execution was not followed since it lacked any announcement regarding the prisioner’s execution or his execution method, as well as the room you tried to execute him in. We also compared the timeframe from when you announced the execution and the time when comms went down, leading to a 14 minute frame between those 2 incidents, which made us believe that the ship hadn’t been hijacked during that time period, thus the usage of an unorthodox execution procedure was INVALID. This event lead ultimately to the escape of the perma prisioner during the Chaos and the death of bystanders in the Almayer.


Having said this, The Council will be issuing a heavy warning for this report. We also would like to remind the accused that, despite being a returning CO, ML and SOP is to be known for all players that Hold this WL and want to play the role, in order to avoid further Conflicts such as this one. With all of that said, this report is resolved.
