Hello! I have been banned from MP role because I have deployed planetside without any orders from the CMP or the aCO. If I recall correctly, I have been banned in August 1st of 2019. I apologize for this issue that I have done, I was a newbie and a baldie. This was the first day that I have downloaded Byond and played SS13. But after playing CM for a year, I have learned to play the game and follow the rules. I was not banned as CMP for a while until an incident where I was arresting a NODing marine in Ice Colony, I did not look around my surroudings (such as FOB or secure areas) and charged in to Engineering where the NOD marine last was. I ended up dieing as a runner charged at me. After both incidents, I have read ML closely and I promise that these incidents won't happen again any time soon! Thank you for reading my appeal, if you have any questions, I will try to answer them as soon as I can!

Right, this is a generally good appeal. My only concern is you were mistakenly not banned from CMP when banned from MP for failing to follow the rules, and you still broke the rules again.

In the future, what are the rules for planetside arrests?
What are the rules MPs have to follow for equipment?

Planetside arrests can only be requested by commisioned officers (such as the Commander, Captain and Lieutenants. You can't go planetside on your own will to 'investigate' for criminals.)
Planetside arrests can only be continued if you are in the Forward Operating Base, the Dropship or secure areas (generally with marine presence and barricaded for the safety of the arrester and the criminal to be escorted back to the Almayer for processing. You can't just charge in every area you want and arrest any offender of ML. You would die doing so and that would break ML).

Regarding the MP equipment rules, You have to keep non-lethal weapons with you at all times, but you can't use them for an arrest if a suspect is compliant to the arrest (unless they are running). This generally is followed during code green.
At code blue, the MPs can carry lethal weapons for their own safety and for the safety of the crew as a threat to the ship was localized and MUST be eliminated. That doesn't also mean you can shoot everyone out of the blue to make an arrest, you still have to use non lethals.
At code red, MPs are allowed to carry lethal weapons with them, not much difference from code blue expect of course that there is a confirmed threat to the ship and it must be eliminated by the law enforcement.
During code delta, where a boarding party is showing significant threat to the Almayer, the MPs can still use lethal weapons with no restrictions at all, the MPs must help civilians and escort prisoners to the Pods and defend the Almayer if the aCO decides to do so.

Alright. You've got a lot of playtime, and you have stated what you should do next time. Please make sure you remember to follow Marine Law and SOP when playing as an MP.

    Resolved, accepted.
