I don't know Git

I currently have a lot of spare time to pick up DM and Git.

Id rather be a small contributor as I need to pick up a project and begin to play with DM first. additionally I am currently studying at University but would like to code more in my spare time to keep my programming skills over the holidays such as Christmas.

A few questions beforehand.
Have you ever programmed in a team before?
I assume all your programming was done for school?
With small contributor you mean mostly bugfixes?
I say that because I do doubt you will retain a lot of skills by doing something very specific/only small contributions. (That is just my personal opinion)
What would you like to see changed most?

I finished a programming group project in Uni before the holidays and yes all my programming has been done for school so far.
As for the small contributor part of what I was saying I feel like it would be best to start there and once i'm more comfortable with DM and Git then potentially helping with larger things that are not just bug fixes.

The thing i would like to see the most is something where the aliens can press a button to see how many more t1's are needed for another t2 or how many more t2's are needed for a t3

For Example in Hive status under where all the mutators are listed there could be
'T3 slots open - "" - "" t2's needed for another t3 slot
T2 slots open - "" - "" t1's needed for another t2 slot
