aoe stunlocks and one-click-wins can nae nae an unga who has to be within kissing distance to blast you with their shotgun, is the point hes trying to make im p sure
That does remind me of something that needs to be said in light of recent changes, shotguns are rather bad against the more heavily armoured MOBA xenoes because their armour penetration is rather poor.
Double buckshot shotgun is overpowered, you stun any t1 or t2 with the first PB and then immediately switch hands to fire the second PB to kill them while still stunned. The only counterplay is literally not fighting at all.
Or being a Defender that isn't young. Or being a Warrior that isn't young. Or being a Carrier that can't be stunned via buckshot. Or being Hivelord that can't be stunned via buckshot. Hmmm... Drone isn't supposed to be combat caste, so its fair it dies quickly. Runner have speed and ranged pounce. Lurker have speed and stealth and ranged pounce. Sentinel isn't close range caste as it has neuro. Spitter isn't close range caste.
It only leaves burrower who is evolution of a drone, so its more of a support beno.
Any other OP buckshot aspects?
Anyone who thinks double buck is OP probably doesn't have the skill to use it, it's unironically the highest skill cap on the marine side. There's also a lot of counterplay.

Xenos are primarily a melee faction. Were you not aware Aval?
xenos also have abilities that arent just unga bunga basic click

pounce
neuro
acid
burrowstomp
hedgehog
gas
etc etc
if they're primarily a melee faction, why does every round i see them in focus mainly on protecting boilers, a range focused caste?
